Pricey and not the best taste
Mint cacao is mint chocolate, right? I love mint chocolate and buy tons of stuff with this flavor, particularly every December. This shake is easily the second worst tasting mint chocolate anything I've had. The worst was a mint chocolate greens powder. After a few shakes, I'm getting used to the flavor, but it's not becoming good. The texture is smooth but thick. I've found that a chocolate protein drink or powder that I have plus a drop or two of peppermint oil gets me a better flavor. The ingredient list is pretty clean, although it does contain "natural" flavors, gellan gum, coconut sugar (better sugar but still sugar). The cost is high. 12 for $60 At $5 each, this was a risk that didn't pay off.

Great, but not excellent
Other people complain a ton about how it taste terrible, but you need to sacrifice at least some taste if you want the healthy stuff like this. The ingredients look good to me as they are significantly healthier than any protein drink I've seen. Personally as for the taste, it's not a premium chocolate shake, but it's alright. To me, it just tastes like chocolate water, and I can hardly taste the mint (mint cocao flavor). If you think this drink tastes terrible, you likely either have a sweetooth or are too used to eating unhealthy. I'm a super taster with a moderately healthy diet, and I like the taste, though they could add more mint. $40 for a 12 pack is a little high for me though, so I just wait until a lightning deal to purchase

Horrible taste
I have been searching for a good -tasting , healthy shake and after reading the reviews thought Apres was the answer . Sadly , no . Although the ingredients are good the taste is bad leaving a very metallic unpleasant aftertaste . I ordered the vanilla . Now I am stuck with the shakes because they cannot be returned . Think twice before ordering Apres In fairness I was able to get a full refund

Seems healthy. But watch for projectile vomit 🤮
It’s pricey for a shake. The mint chocolate and coffee flavors were awesome, but they’re a bit watery, especially the Sea salt chocolate and vanilla flavors feel like they should be more thick and creamy.Being a dietitian and long distance runner for many years, I pride myself on clean eating. Ingredients-wise, I feel like I’m doing my body a service by drinking these. I read reviews about people offering these to their kids, and ingredients seemed harmless. However, when I gave my child just 1/3 of a bottle as part of her snack she projectile-vomited everywhere just an hour later and was dry heaving for 15 minutes afterward. It was an evening filled with cleaning vomit and wiping tears. I’ve never seen this kid get sick. It was a horrible whirlwind of chaos. For such a reason, I’ll probably not buy these again. At least not while she may want to taste everything I’m consuming. Caution to parents with curious kids that like to eat.

Good Nutrition, Not Too Sweet
First impressions were that these were a bit bland. However I got used to the low sugar content and now I like them much better. The texture is smooth and somewhat creamy, but on the thin side - not thin like an Iconic drink, but somewhere between Iconic and Evolve or Orgain. The coffee is my least favorite because it is slightly bitter. The vanilla is also underwhelming as far as vanilla goes, it tastes more like vanilla hemp milk. Otherwise, they could do better with the vanilla and the coffee, but the chocolate and chocolate mint flavors are quite good..This is good nutrition and would be ideal for a Paleo or vegan diet, although probably not a Keto diet. It is difficult to find a vegan protein drink that has mostly organic ingredients (these do) and that doesn't contain poor-quality filler ingredients like PUFA oils, carrageenan, or guar gum, or sweeteners like sucralose or stevia. These contain a little coconut sugar, some monk fruit extract, and a bit of gellan gum. These also make a great smoothie base. I have thrown a few of these in a blender with some added fruit, hemp milk and protein powder, and the resulting beverage was thicker and tastier, although also higher in sugar. However, as a "grab and go" snack or even part of a meal replacement, these are pretty good and are fairly satisfying.

Perfect for the busy working mom!
I have two kids under two and work for a startup 24/7. Often times I am in back to back meetings all day with zero time to make lunch let along work out. These save me. I grab one quickly and know that I am getting the boost, nutrients and protein that I need in one quick drink. I used to work out and loved using them as a post work out boost, but I no longer have the time. They taste so good that I wanted to keep them around... little did I know they would save my life! If I have 2 minutes between meetings I grab one quickly and get back to work. I feel great after and am so happy to be putting something healthy/quick in my body. If I didn't keep my fridge stocked with these, my lunches would likely be a handful of pretzels or goldfish. In no means do I intend it to be a meal replacement, but when I know I won't have time for a full meal, it's the perfect thing to get me through the day! (Side note, my 2-year-old son loves them... If we are headed somewhere and I want to bring a "snack" that is not chips or crackers or something perishable, I throw one of these in the bag and they are perfect for him)

Great flavor and clean ingredients.....BUT the unpredictable pricing is a deal breaker
I ordered the sea salt chocolate on 12-28-2020 it was a 12 pack for $25.59....the flavor is great! Yes, there is a distinct aftertaste. BUT it is not a metallic taste as others have said.....these people clearly haven't ever tasted real coconut water.....that is what the aftertaste is....that flavor is the 'real deal' taste of actual coconut water. With the great taste, smooth/non-chalky feel, clean and allergy-free ingredients, and lack of GI upset after drinking(some protein drinks are hard on my stomach)...I thought I had found my forever protein drink....HOWEVER, I went to re-order 13 days after my initial purchase and it was now selling for $39.99......that is a huge jump and a deal breaker for me. If the price drops back down to $25, then game on.....but I will keep looking until then.
