Storm Kimonos 'Trooper' Gi

bought two other storm gi's. one other white the other black. comfortable. great for grappling program friends are in. good range of motion whole wearing gi. not to mention it is goodlooking and intimidating since when it is worn creates confidence.

The pants on the gi are great, some of the best I own, but the sizing of the jacket is absolutely off. Extremely long skirt, stiff, but too narrow to properly close, and the arms are also extremely long.The jacket is unwearable for me, I am 5ft10 170 lbs and wear a2 in most gis, a2 jacket for this gi was down to my knees in the skirt, a full half-hand length past my fingertips in the sleeves, but the jacket was so narrow that I couldn't properly close it.

The construction is superb and the attention to detail is top of the line. Be careful on size because this gi is longer and wider compared to other brands such as Fuji for half size. Just consider that when ordering and very important; this gi do not shrink!!!! I also own the Storm F-Lite and my son just got the Storm Scout have to say that I am a happy customer.

Sizing was a tad too large

I purchased this Gi for my son who is 6'2" and 170-lbs in size A3. It is HUGE!!! I wish he would've read the reviews before we ordered it.I called Amazon to see if I could get a phone number to call Storm about sizing of their Gi and they were unable to provide me with a phone number. Apparently, the Gi is preshrunk, so even if washed in hot water and dried in the dryer, they don't shrink.We currently own two Fuji Gi's and they fit perfectly. After seeing the reviews, I'm not sure that even if we got an A1 in the Storm Kimono 'Trooper' Gi, that it would fit. Bottom line...be prepared to return this Gi unless you want a really big Gi, that is long as a dress with very long sleeves.

Great product but ti big

The gi itself is really nice, but the sizing was way off. I looked at their size chart online and I was on the upper limit of what they said an A2 should fit. I ordered the A2 thinking that, if anything, it might be too small, but when I put it on I was swimming in it. I wouldn't buy another storm gi without actually trying it on first.

I didn't expect the delivery went that quick! Love storm gi its thick and tough and comfy to wear.
