Totes Umbrella Micro Mini (Color/pattern May Vary) (M) Medium Coverage

I had this same umbrella for many years. It finally wore out and after much searching I had given up on ever finding it again. Then I looked on Amazon, and there it was. I don't get the negative reviews... It is what it is... a great, functional, tiny, packable umbrella. With care it should last for a long time. Yes, it was difficult to open the very first time, but after that there was no problem. I don't know why we can't choose the color, but I got lucky with a dark grey houndstooth check. Not what I would have ordered (wanted solid black), but I can live with it. I highly recommend this umbrella -- especially since it apparently is the only one this small and functional on the market.

Bought this for my 8 year old to keep in her backpack. She struggles to get it open and closed and the handle is very small and hard to hold. Also the color cannot be chosen and she was disappointed when we received the all black. The umbrella itself doesn't stay in the sleeve provided, it was constantly falling out while in her bag. But as an umbrella, it is water resistant and can get her from point A to point B, so I guess that is what counts.

Perfect for what it is - a tiny, lightweight umbrella small enough to keep in my purse at all times so I'm never caught in the rain. No, it probably won't hold up in a torrential downpour or strong winds, but I wouldn't expect it to. I also enjoyed the element of surprise in not knowing which pattern I would get - I ended up getting an awesome black with white stripes pattern that wasn't even advertised in the photo, but that I would have chosen if I could.

Pros:- VERY small, I mean TINY! This is a plus for me because I want an "emergency" umbrella that stays out of my way unless I need it.Cons:- Pricey- Coverage area is limited, but this is acceptable since I want ultra-compactness.Concerns:Construction seems to be good, but the metal supports are very thin and feel fragile. I plan to handle it with care and only use it occasionally if I'm in a pinch.

This umbrella is really cheaply made. Hard to open and little bump that holds it open is really flimsy and doesn't stay. Even in open mode, umbrella is not taut. I'm returning it.

I ordered two of these, expecting some kind of colorful assortment. Got two black ones. Yeah, they're ok. Just was hoping for something, anything else. Anything at all.

I knew when I purchased this that I couldn't pick the design and was really hoping I didn't get the rainbow design. However, I was willing to take a chance since I need this micro size for a trip to Europe. I am very happy to report that I got a very nice leopard print that will perfectly coordinate with my khaki trench coat and black pants that I'll be wearing most places in Europe. The one thing to note is that it is manual open, a little flimsy, and just enough for one person. I thought it was a little expensive considering these points.

Here in FL an umbrella is a necessity, for both rain and sun. The compact size makes this one ideal for my needs. It has worked very well since purchasing it. It folds easily and quickly, is light weight and very, very compact. It does however feel very flimsy when open, and I would not try to use it in strong windy conditions . How durable, time will tell, but at the price paid, a replacement would not be a hardship.
