Meica Frankfurter Sausages 250g (pack of 12)

Supplied in a case of 12 jars, this is a fine product, it has the classic tasty lightly smoked taste with a firm skin and made for the German market. These are genuine frankfurters, not hot dogs (which have the soft skins like bockwurst) It is ideal for eating with potato salad and each jar contains 6 sausages with a drained weight of 250 grams. The 6 sausages taste better dipped in a little mustard and are enough for 2 people. The label is written in German but all you really need to know is that you empty the contents complete with the brine into a pan, top up with water to cover the contents then after bringing to a simmering heat keep at the simmer level for 5 minutes then the cooking is done. DO NOT BOIL at any time in the process. The cost of the product plus delivery may at first appear expensive, but if you bear in mind the 6 sausages are enough for 2 people then it is very reasonable on a per person basis and you are enjoying a top quality tasty product. I recommend this product and this can't find anything else I would prefer, especially from my local supermarkets. If you want the real thing then go for it!

This is the perfect 'hot dog' sausage and complements a pasta 'stir fry'.
