28 oz. teapot
This is a great little tea pot. I know it said not to put it on a direct flame, but I put mine on my gas stove over a low flame. It only takes a few minutes for the water to boil then I turn it off and then add the basket that comes with it with loose tea and cover it with the lid and let it steep 3 to 5 min. I haven't had a problem brewing this way. The enamel coating has not been damaged. I have owned cast iron with enamel coated skillets in the past, so I figured I would risk it and try it over the flame. No problem, I would suggest keeping it on low flame just in case. With my busy schedule I prefer to use one pot to boil & brew. The 28 oz. capacity gives you enough for 2 mugs of tea. That way if I want to share a cup I can. The green color is beautiful, I get compliments from people who have seen it sitting on the stove. Love it!

PF Changs Style and Taste at Home
We love PF Changs and their tea served in a cast iron teapot. We made it our mission to make the same great tea at home. Our adventure started at Teavana where we saw very nice but ridiculously expensive cast iron teapots. Being on a budget led us to Amazon and we found this item. Its similar to a Teavana $180 model (at least near as I can tell) but its affordable and the quality appears to be excellent. Shipping was fast and free.I went onto the Revolution Tea website and bought Dragon Eye Oolong Tea, the same brand and oolong tea served at PF Changs! Now we are enjoying our favorite tea at home anytime. By the way, its way cheaper to buy Revolutions tea directly on their website than other sites reselling their tea.Nothing could be better on a cold winter day.Stay thirsty my friends...

A totally enjoyable experience
We use this teapot on a daily basis. In other reviews, we read that the enamel cracked. By reading and following the directions, we have not had one problem. We enjoy the "tea experience". It is the perfect size for 2, stays warm, is very easy to clean and is quite pretty. We love using and looking at this teapot. Give it a try and read the instructions - you just can't go wrong.

BEAUTIFUL TEAPOT WITH INFUSER - WITH OR WITHOUT THE INFUSER, THIS IS JUST PERFECT FOR ME!
The teapot arrived safely wrapped inside a box that was squished, and it was not damaged at all! It's just as pictured and described. It also fits perfectly on my hobblenail candle teapot warmer of the same green! I love to have tea with my grandchildren, one to two at a time, and visit about life and interests.

Attractive Steeping Pot
It's attractive for what it is. If you want a pot for steeping, this is nice cast iron and attractive. However, I was under the impression from the description that it could be used on the stove to heat the water directly. You do not. You heat using a regular tea kettle (or pot or whatever) and transfer the water into this pot for brewing. Adds a step if you don't mind tea bags. If you want loose leaves, it should work well. I bought it for my wife and she just displays it. Not exactly my intention because anything on display eventually gets put away after being dust catcher for a while. But, I think it is well made and attractive. More my misunderstanding, but the ad could've been written better with some description of how it would be used.

High Quality Teapot!
I purchased this Green Dragonfly teapot as a much more affordable alternative to a (slightly) different dragonfly teapot carried by Teavana. I was happy to find this one online, and being that both were comprised of cast iron and had no discernable differences other than their design, I decided to go for it.Years later, this is still our go-to teapot for brewing at home. The teapot came with a wonderful strainer, and even a sample of green tea!I would whole-heartedly recommend this teapot to anyone looking for an affordable alternative to what is carried at the major shopping malls!

Toxic Pot. Dont Buy
I initially loved this pot when it arrived. It was sturdy and kept the tea water warm longer than my porcelain tea pot. The dragon fly design was very attractive. I was planning on buying another pot as a gift. However, yesterday I poured tea for company and pieces of the inside enamel poured out into the bottom of the tea cup.. Embarrassing. Yesterday, I used bagged tea so it was easy to spot the enamel flakes. Previously, I was using loose tea so the broken off pieces must have just blended in. I would not recommend this pot.

Beautiful and elegant, heavy tea pot. A wonderful gift for your tea-lover!
This is a beautiful, heavy teapot with an infuser and a sample of green tea. I am a huge fan of cast iron teapots. They keep the tea hot for longer and don't chip! The Dragonfly Cast Iron Teacups also available through Amazon, match the pot. I bought this as a birthday gift for my daughter and she literally gasped when she saw it. The green is outstanding! Looks just like the photo. And she loves dragonflies. A lovely gift. Kind of wish I'd bought one for ME!
