My daughter loved it

I bought two of these for my daughters. So far we have discovered that they have one missing candle each - one had compartment 3 empty, and the other had compartment 6 empty. I have obtained a partial refund from Amazon, but really, Yankee Candle need to sort out their quality control, or are they deliberately selling us short, knowing we can't exactly prove that candles are missing / send the calendars back????Not impressed.

I can't help but feel that at times Yankee Candle could make their offerings more exciting, and this Advent Calendar is one such product.Firstly, it didn't travel well - several of the doors were opened or partially opened when this arrived, although the calendar itself was shrink wrapped. Secondly, it always seems a bit backwards to me that the larger door 24 contains a candle holder, something that might perhaps have been more useful if it had been behind door 1. Thirdly, there's not a huge amount of variety to the candle scents included. In this case there are 5 scents in total: Festive Cocktail, Snowflake Cookie, Christmas Eve, All is Bright, and Macaron Treats. Fourthly, the double-sided design makes it possible to see through the door you've just opened/emptied into the corresponding door on the other side of the calendar, ruining any vestige of surprise.The tea lights are nice quality, although I'm not crazy about Macaron Treats or Snowflake Cookie (which is quite subtle and seems dominated by the scents from the other candles).

Product is far too delicate for online delivery, or if packing with other gifts (secret Santa sack or such). The doors pop open far too easily.Amazon delivered it in a sturdy box and with plenty of packing paper, but just the pressure of packing paper had already popped open a number of the doors, including the last big door. No fault to the packer, it is just far too delicate for something that has to be handled and likely to be gifted. Even Just handling it to open doors proves difficult not to inadvertently pop open doors on the reverse side. Yankee really need to make this product with some kind of additional card cover over the fronts to stop it arriving with open doors.Also there are six types of tea lights, but it does not specify on each candle what it is. As three types are white and smell quite subtle it is hard to tell which is which. There could have been a little more range as well: One is "Christmas cookie," one is "Snowflake cookie," and another is "Macaron treats" - all of which just smell mildly like frosting to me.Overall quite disappointed in both the candle selection and the quality of the calendar. Giving someone a calendar with doors already popped open looks naff so just had to keep for self.

Words cannot explain how disappointed I am with this item. Not only did the item arrive in a damaged condition it is VERY clear this item had been returned before as somebody wasn't happy with the item and then resold to us. AVOID!

Bought this for my mum for Christmas. I had bought a similar advent calendar from Yankee Candles the year before for my girlfriend which was excellent however this year the quality seemed to have gone down. There were missing candles which was incredibly disappointing and the ones which were provided weren't as good as the previous year
