BAK 26207 BakFlip G2 Truck Bed Cover

This cover came quickly and was a breeze to install. The bed rails clamped on quickly with little effort. The bed cover popped on easily with a few adjustments and tighteners. This thing is awesome looking and super easy to use. I now have a super secure cover that is built like a tank and best of all it allows full access to my bed. Incredible design and well worth the money! I highly recommend this one!

Installation of the cover was uncomplicated especially after watching the YouTube video. The installation was performed with ratcheting wrenches and was pretty fast despite the rails appearing to refuse to tighten level. After undoing them several times they were more level but not level. The cover is quite heavy but the weight adds a "solid feel" element to the cover. What I don't like about the cover: 1) it leaks - sometimes it leaks a lot 2) the rail drain is not a good solution requiring you to cut through your bed liner if you have one (bed rug in my case) 3) the hardware is not up to snuff. Some of it is already rusting after just six months. Also, the bracket which the rods go into to prop the cover open are plastic and want to bend, deform and go wonky on me. I don't really trust them as they have come out of their tracks several times. The problem all of you are facing is there are trade offs with every system. That being said, given the price of this I feel the shortcomings need to be put out there for people to know what they are getting.

Hmm, everyone loves this cover but me I guess... But I've also had it a few months before I wrote a review. Just as the other reviewers say, it's a super-easy install and the fit is pretty good - unless you have a 2013 I guess. My truck is a '13 Ram 1500 Crew Cab and it leaks like crazy in strong rains. The front of the bed sits lower than the side rails, so the cover comes with a foam stick-on spacer to fill the gap - the problem is that it isn't even close to waterproof. I called Bakflip and they told me to caulk around all the edges where the foam spacer sits (that's right, they told me to caulk the bed of my brand-new truck.) After telling them to forget it, we had another strong downpour and the entire inside of the bed was soaked, so I gave in and caulked all around it - and it still leaks. For the price of this thing I would expect it to be at least somewhat waterproof. Additionally, I've had it flipped up maybe 10 times, and the rubber gaskets are already showing signs of wear and look like they might crack any day now at the crease points. Overall I'm not expecting this thing to last very long. Very disappointed...UPDATE 2/14 - I'm changing my review to four stars... So like my original review stated, I was having significant issues with the cover leaking, even in light rains. I contacted Bakflip and explained the situation, and within a week they had sent out a replacement cover. I've had that one installed for about 2 weeks now, and no leaks so far - I must've gotten a lemon or something initially. Thanks to Bakflip for standing behind their product and making it right.

Awesome bed cover! I installed it on my 2015 Ram 1500 4x4 crew cab and definitely meets my expectations! I've had two of the "canvas" type covers that were ok. I placed my order one evening and it was on my doorstep the next day (most likely because I live in Tomball, TX and they are a Texas company! If your looking for an extremely sealed tight cover, this one is probably not for you. But, if you're looking for a strong, heavy duty, durable cover that latches closed in each section, I STRONGLY recommend this cover! The selling company is also amazing, emailing throughout the entire sell process with shipping updates. This will be the only cover that I will use from here on out and would definitely recommend it to anybody asking. For the record, it is extremely safe in going through the drive in type carwashes as well.

Having issues with leaking which is very disappointing considering how expensive this product is. Looks sharp but the leaking was not expected or acceptable with the cost I paid.

I bought this cover after heavy research in truck forums and reading reviews there. The cover is solid, and easy to install. It took me about 45 min at night to do since I couldn't wait to morning :)I have a 2011 Dodge Ram Crew Cab (w/o cargo box) and it fits great. The inside stays completely dry through rain and even a car wash. My only worry was the drain tubes but they fit right into the front holes in the bed liner and go out so I'm really impressed.If you can afford it, I definitely recommend it.

Perfect fit! Great value. Easy to install and operate. Significantly lower cost than what my local truck customizer could get for the same product. Can be cumbersome if you need to open up the bed, but I'm happy to make that trade-off. Keep bungie cords handy in case you need to open one or two panels for a drive - the wind will slam them back which can damage your cargo or the cover.

I installed this cover on my new Ram 1500, and three months later its falling apart. One of the locking rails has come off and a second is loose. It looks like it was held on with tape and a few pop-rivits. I guess if I was abusing it that may make a difference but I have probably opened the bed 10 times in the three months it was installed. The truck is garaged every night. But the worst part is Bakflip told me they will not honor the warranty for product purchased through Amazon!!! That was not mentioned before purchase. So its up to me to resolve with Amazon I guess.It looks nice and installed very easily. I just wish it lasted longer.

I love this cover...this is my second G2...I bought my first three years ago for a 2010 F-150SuperCrew...this one was for a new 2015 RAM 1500 Crew cab...and so far no I have no issues...installation took a bit less time than previous as I have done it before. We are currently in the dead of winter here in Saskatchewan so no issues with rain leaking in...I will update this review in the spring, but the foam gasket provided seems adequate, and none of these covers are completely water or dust proof anyway...accept that or buy an Expedition or Tahoe....or deal with a fiberglass LO Rider

Great tonneau cover worth the high price tag, I carry all my hockey and work gear back there and with the tail gate lock it stays dry and safe.
