I own about seven or eight drones. All the way from nano drones like Cheerson and Axis to DJI drones of professional quality (Phantom 3 Pro). This drone is engineered and built to the same standard of the DJI's. Everything they claim for it works flawlessly:Pros: well written, understandable manual, and quick start guide very solid build quality, powerful and stable flier, all parts (motors, batteries, etc.) are readily available very good camera with up and down trim-camera is also removable all functions except FPV camera view are able to be used from controller-including taking pictures Bugs Go app is excellentCons: Battery charging takes five hours with standard balanced charger. Faster chargers are available.

This drone seems to have a mind of its own. It wants to kill itself.My first impression was that it was very cool. The RTH feature worked. The control works. The camera takes good pictures.The sixth time I flew it when I pressed the landing button it powered straight down out of the sky and crashed.I was able to get it to hover so it seemed to work okay. The next time I started it it hovered, the ballon it’s own took off and crashed at its highest speed into the ground. Now it is bent out of shape.I tried to find customer service but apparently there is none in the U.S. No phone number or email.Now I have a three month old $174 piece of plastic.

DISCLAIMER: This is the first drone I have ever owned.I am very satisfied with the Bugs B5W drone. It wasn't too difficult to setup and fly straight out of the box. The English language used and overall documentation included in the Quick Start guide and User Manual are exceptional compared to 99.9% of products shipped directly from China. The Bugs Go app is well made for FPV flying. The Return to Home function on low battery has already saved me from losing it in the trees. As a word of caution to beginner/intermediate pilots like myself--don't fly too close to trees, especially if they are way out of your line of sight!My only complaint about this product is the mechanical gimbal for the camera. This did not function properly out of the box. It would lock up, and I would be lucky if the gimbal trimmer on the remote control would work to force the camera to pop into a fully-up or fully-down position. After disconnecting the camera and wiggling it around a little bit (or a lot!), it seems like the servo motor and gears have aligned properly, resulting in better gimbal control. However, there seems to be a bit of a grinding noise during the gimbal movement, and the camera movement isn't 100% as smooth as I would have hoped. I'm going to chalk this up as a problem caused by new plastic parts that are too tightly packed, but will eventually break in, as I have already seen improvement in the movement action. On one side of the coin, it isn't a big enough issue for a product return; but on the other side of the coin, I'm not adventurous enough to void the warranty by taking apart the entire camera assembly to troubleshoot the issue. The bottom line is that the camera gimbal now works satisfactory while flying.Battery charging is slow. This is not a complaint. It's just the nature of the beast, especially since this beast comes with three batteries! I started using my power adapter for Raspberry Pi (2.5 A) to charge the batteries. Charging through my computer's USB port or a standard cell phone power adapter (1 A) didn't ever seem to get the batteries to fully charge, even when plugged in overnight. Do yourself a favor and get a MicroUSB power adapter with at least 2 A output. (The User Manual recommends 1 A - 2 A. Go big or go home!)Do yourself another favor and buy an extra MicroSD card. Photos and videos from this camera are sweet!

The media could not be loaded.  I have several drones now and this is a great drone for the price. Mine came with three batteries. Googles were not part of the deal. The tilt feature on the camera is what makes this drone special. It flies smooth and looks sharp. The look of the drone is awesome. The wide stance also gives it a unique look.The controler is also step above the rest. Or the app I should say. Tells you altitude of the drone as well as how far from you. Also gives drone battery indicator so you know how long you have left to fly.Good for indoors but this drone shines when it’s outside.I posted videos on my YouTube channels ice rink diaries and droningham.Elemental Design has great customer service as well.Beginning or advance. This drone will put a huge smile on your face.

For some reason my bugs kept falling out the sky then the lights would blink red, fresh batteries in controller and drone. The first two times it happen no biggie I’m only about 10 meters off the ground but this last time I’m 50 meters up just hovering and boom drone falls out the sky.. have no idea why this happen but let’s just say I’m highly disappointed with this drone. Maybe I had a lemon but I wouldn’t take a chance at buying another

I tried 3 of these & everyone of them had issues. If i did not need to give it a star to continue, it would have been zero. Don’t waist your money on this one.

Be careful with this drone depending the drone or is factory . I flue my drone with 17 satellites connected I took it up once my drone went to about 17 meters my drone stoped responding to my controls its started going up and down on its own my lcd said I had control but my drone was acting up I press return to home it started to spin in the air horizontally till it crashed

There was nothing in the directions or app that even mentions how to use the video function. It didn't really matter though because I couldn't get it to do anything, so I returned it for refund.
