The blurb for this says that it is very easy to install. Wrong - I followed the instructions several times ('Easy Application') and the dammed thing wouldn't connect. Only when a knowledgeable techie friend took it on (I'm no novice at installing tech products) and was able to change the LAN code, did he get it working, and that took him a good half hour to figure out. Now it is working - fabulous. It boosts the wifi signal, which I did bit expect, and makes it available all over the house. Perfect.So, does it do what it claims? Eventually, yes. Could I have got it working without a knowledgeable techie friend? No. Definitely not (What is a 'LAN code anyway? If you don't know, steer clear and don't buy.)

The unit was purchased to make the AWUS036H/3G unit in our static caravan wireless. This it did without effort after a firmware upgrade (also easy to do). One advantage of this was that a single access code enables all devices (laptop, table, phone) access to the internet. Really worthwhile!

Worked ....but antenna very flimsy and doesn't tighten. turns 360 degrees ,does a good job but could manufacture it using better materials.

very easy to use.....set it up in less than 2 minutes....perfect with the Alfa USB high gain modemconnected it all to wireless router and have wifi throughout the housewill be taking away with me as it a great portable device aswell
