Ultimate Ears Megaboom McLaren Bluetooth/Wireless Speaker (Waterproof and Shockproof) - MP44 - Red-White

This speaker is INCREDIBLE.There are not many words to describe how good this speaker really is but I'll try to explain. I never leave the house with out this speaker now as it seems to be able to bring a party anywhere with more than enough sound and amazing bass. The waterproofing is faultless and I have taken this speaker in a pool and shower multiple times with no problems. The app is also genius, my favourite feature being that I can turn the speaker on and off from the app alone with no need to touch the speaker itself. People always fight over who's going to connect to this when I'm out because it's that good sound. The battery is more than good enough to last 15 hours on full blast before I have to charge it. Definitely recommend if you have the cash, you WILL NOT be disappointed. Great job Ultimate Ears!

Great speaker for outdoor and indoor use with very clear sound no matter what. When fully charged the speaker can last very long but the speaker usually starts to die when you least expect it, the only problem I had was with the charging cable as it broke within a week of having it. It does not charge very well with any other cable so it’s quite difficult to always keep charged Besides from that this it’s is a very good quality speaker and I definetly would recommend it.

It is the Paul Robeson of portable speakers. Its bigger and heavier than I'd imagined, but this probably adds to the quality of its sound. No problems with it yet and I've had it for a couple of months - switches between sources on bluetooth quite easily. The cylindrical shape may mean it makes a sound that reaches every corner of the room. This model is a bit pricey, but the makers produce less expensive similar items.

Just as expected and had seen in the shops, but £18 cheaper than anywhere Else I had seen this product!!!I thought I was purchasing the smaller version, but that's my fault for not checking my stats fully, but I am not disappointed that it is the larger version!!!look forward to taking this away with me on my next holiday for some beach party times with friends!!!

I was very pleased with the sound quality of this speaker and after 18 months or so it still sounds as good as it did when new. It has plenty of power to fill a good sized room. My gripe is that the battery now will not hold its charge so has to be recharged before every use. It hasn't had a lot of use so this is really surprising. It's outside the warranty period so I have no real remedy. As the unit isn't cheap it isn't really acceptable that the battery should fail so soon. There are YouTube videos showing how to replace the battery so I may give that a try but really shouldn't have to at this stage.

Awesome sound,ended up purchasing two to pair up through the app (Panther and red white McLaren).Good solid sound.Bass signature is great but lacks slightly compared to say the Bose soundlink mini 2 but overall an excellent balanced sound and the trade off between portability,durability,pairing,battery life is well worth it.So far I have encountered no issues with battery problems.Perfect for holidays,poolside,beach,bbq’s etc especially with two paired together.Couldn’t be happier & I am seriously considering adding a couple more whilst they’re cheap.

Fantastic speaker, pretty amazing how much power it has for a wireless device. It’s not far off my Sonos play one for sound quality and it’s waterproof! Great on the paddle boards! Slightly bigger and heavier than I imagined, but just ok for personal bag hand luggage on a plane. Overall it’s a 4-4.5 star for me. The waterproofing gave it the edge over the others in its price range.
