I recently decided to start brewing kombucha at home and I felt these were the perfect bottles/jars. The cloth cover is really helpful. I like the shape and quality of the bottles. They’re very sturdy and having the spigot helps a lot with decanting. I bought two and now I plan to make all of my own kombucha at home. My first batch turned out really well.

I bought this jar as a second fermenter for kombucha. It is high quality glass and comes with a stainless spigot. I highly recommend this gallon jar. The stainless filter insert will save me having to filter before bottling.

Arrived quickly, exactly what I wanted, a gallon container to grow kombucha. So far so good. Three days in and love it thus far. I had no leaks from the start, super easy to clean and just great

Cool set, I like that you can brew in the same jar that you can pour from. The set comes with everything you see in the picture, but you'll need your own scoby, tea, and sugar (and water, of course) to start your brew. I think the price is a little high, especially considering you don't technically need any of this to brew kombucha. You could just use a large glass jar with a towel and a rubber band, so the kit is cool but not necessary. I'd be interested in the other products from this company, especially their tools to carbonate the kombucha, this will just make the tea. If nothing else, it's nice, big, glass jar with a spicket.

When ordered this "1 Gallon Kombucha Jar with Spigot, Continuous Kombucha Brewing Jar Kit, Glass Kombucha Starter Kit with Stainless Steel Mesh Filter and Cloth Top" was listed as $34.99 and while that may seem like a bit much for a glass kombucha jar, you will spend almost as much on a stainless steel spigot and strainer basket WITHOUT a jar. I love that this setup comes with all of the non-consumables that you need to get to brewing. I have made kombucha in the past and am currently using this to make Tepache and love it for that! I just wish there was a 2 or even 3 gallon option!**Note** I received this item at a reduced cost as part of the Amazon Vine Program in exchange for my honest review. This is an excellent kombucha jar or tea strainer/infuser. I personally liked it for my kombucha when I was doing the final addition of fruit it did come with the temperature gauge, which is kind of nice to have when it's sitting out on the counter overall it did keep my fruit from really mixing into the kombucha while infusing the flavor into the kombucha itself. The spigot is metal, which is great. The stainless steel strainer inside is nice to have and I love the beautiful clean glass look overall I'm very very happy with this kombucha dispenser, which I can have sitting right on my counter while it's infusing fruit, peaches, berries, or pineapples altogether I highly recommend this kind of infuser for fruit kombucha.

Seems good ...i.e. Metal spicket unlike the cheap plastic ones on some other products. Comes complete with all you need to get a start in brewing except for the "Scoby" just wish they made a two gallon one of same quality.

Truth be told I haven’t gotten the chance to try this out yet because the process is a little daunting. However, having checked out the product itself I’m confident that it’s a good quality set. It includes everything you need (except ingredients of course) to begin making kombucha. The most important part to me, honestly, is that it included instructions and a recipe that seem pretty easy to follow.Besides that, I found that each piece seems to be of good quality. I’m confident that when I finally take the effort to get my Scoby (if you don’t know what that is, you are definitely going to want to do a little more research on kombucha) I will have everything I need to get started.Overall, I’m excited to try my hand at a new hobby and am confident that this kit will be more than sufficient for that. The one thing I will say is that doing a bit more research, this is a pretty small jar. Given the time it takes to make a batch I’d prefer something twice as large. If it got to the point where I wanted to have some every day, this would not make enough kombucha. Just something to think about. But if you just want some sporadically, this is great.
