Derby-tastic
I bought these after starting roller derby. I'm now part of the freshmeat team and feel more comfortable in my own pair of skates. Look good, feel good. Definitely get the wear out of them, even though there is a bit of a price tag. Worth it for quality though. More unisex than males.

Absolutely fantastic. Great Rollers.
Bought this item not long ago. I will split my review into sections. It's going to be plain and simple and not too extensive.Delivery: 5/5 Quick delivery, on time and package was in perfect condition.Price: Price wise, it was a bit expensive. Nevertheless, the item proved to be worth the money.Product: The roller derby vipers are amazing. I went for a UK7 size even though I'm size 8, fit's perfectly. Soft comfortable padding inside the skates, feels just like trainers. It can make your feet slightly sweaty, only if you're skating for quite some time. The material is excellent, doesn't feel or look cheap.Performance: Very smooth glides when skating. Hardly any friction on the wheels to the surface. Obviously if you're skating on a rough surface it will affect it. Been using it for over a month now and it's surviving well, even after the many falls i took. (Yes I'm a beginner :-) ).All in all, a brilliant product. I'd recommend this product to anyone interested in learning or already pros in the field of roller skating. Thank you!

Viper skates
Roller derby viper skatesNice skates, fit great no sign of blister on feet!so that's a bonus. But did have to change the wheels and stoppers. The wheels for me are to wide and the stoppers to soft.Apart from the above comment its still a good skate and ideal for the beginner

lasted one month, waste of money
After one month: the biggest flaw in these skates is the trucks are not one solid piece, rather there is bar running through the truck that the wheels on either side screw onto. So if you tighten one wheel it pulls the wheel on the other side in, tightening that too! this also means that if you knock one side of the skate hard the wheels shift over: loosening one side and tightening the other. The bearings have also totally seized up and some make a grinding clicking sound. Its currently like trying to skate through mud. Also, the toe stop leaves embarrassing black streaks on the skate rink whenever i use it. Some people have mentioned that they are fine after changing the bearings, wheels, and cushions, but after that expense you might as well have paid for a lower end pair of reidells for just short of £100. This also wouldn't solve the loose bar in the truck. Really regretting this purchase.

Ok
The boot is alright but very disappointed that I can't make alterations like new toe stops! I think its worth going for a slightly more expensive skate as the ankle part is a little to high for apex skating and the skate is just generally less superior than even the lower budget skates like reidell r3s etc. what I need them for is less intense than derby so they are kinda alright for now but I suggest if your really wanting to get into derby to go for a higher budget skate.

First skate
Struggled with these to start with, once I'd changed the cushions, bearings and wheels they are much better. Shame about the toe stop, but over all a good beginning skate.
