There is not a lot of options out there for these type of meters. This one works great but takes time to learn it. I am in the service department. Every time I use it I end up having to relearn it and if I have switched phones then there is a whole other mess. once set up it is dependable....Just takes some time. this must be used in conjunction with a phone so I usually go set it up myself versus letting my guys handle it. There are some free (at the moment) subscriptions that must also be kept up with or it will not do anything....

This unit actually performs well as do all the fluke products I’ve used. However, you CAN NOT DOWNLOAD DATA LOCALLY!!! You must install the Fluke app on your phone, create an account, then wirelessly connect the meter to your phone before you can even start logging data. Then, after navigating multiple layers of “online” job “setup” requirements you can finally get the machine to start logging data.Streaming or Uploading the data to Flukes cloud based “device” management also requires the mobile app and a lot of extra hair….First year account subscription is free but the yearly renewal gets expensive fast.Do your research. This can be a great tool for big companies but ISN’T the same tool as their 1700 series data loggers.Fluke needs to provide more detailed information to consumers about the limitations and extra requirements of this machine.

Got the job dine for us. Able to quickly diagnose a floating nuetral problem on an emergency/generator power setup

The data is locked behind a pay wall, and you have to use the mobile app just to capture a session. This device comes with a USB port which is useless because you can't export the data to it. $4K paperweight. The menus are also terrible to navigate and run you around in circles. I have yet to find a setting to change the sample rate, which parameters are recorded etc...Deceptive practices. I thought Fluke was a reputable company but I will be looking elsewhere for my future measurement equipment.

It is internet based and will not allow you to download files and look at on your computer like the old 1700 series.What a waste of time and money.

Bought for work and meets our expectations

My employer bought me this, plus the fancy carrying case. It's a good thing they got the case because that's where this will sit, forever. There is absolutely no way to export the graphs and data unless you pay for a "fluke connect" account. Your data is locked into the device and the most you can do is take a cell phone picture of the screen.It as absolutely unacceptable and outrageous that fluke would do something so predatory and exploitative. You can't connect via bluetooth nor usb cable... nope your data first needs to be sent by wifi to the "mother ship" and then you can get access to it.As an offline only, spot checking device: It works fine. It will analyze absolutely any circuit [delta, wye, 3 wire single phase, etc] but if you're planning on leaving this plugged in to record for a week and then download your data... DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!!!!!FLUKE NEEDS TO OFFER AN APOLOGY AND SEND A PATCH UPDATE TO ALLOW DIRECT USB DOWNLOAD.I am absolutely livid that we wasted so much money on this analyzer. Welcome to the future. Disgusting companies like Fluke want to scrape up that sweet, sweet customer data and then demand you get a subscription.

Have to have two phones to connect to it. Support is only E-mail. If you have an open 8 hour day to give to them possibly will log 3 days for you. then take it home download the data bring it back to the jobsite to continue to log. Junk.
