Amazing sound quality and very good bass

Itne mein itna hi milega!- For given price, it's ok.
These speakers are surely not for audiophile or someone who wants crystal clear sound. Bass overpowers the music most of the time even if you use Equalizer settings. Bass is not tight and clear so overall result is a bit muddy sound. Bass can be controlled from the knob behind the subwoofer but still result is not good. No treble control. For 3K, it seems the price of speakers must be around 1.5K and rest for making the FM/usb/remote/display functionality. So obviously speakers can't be great in that price. If you can do without FM/remote/usb and have a good budget - go for M10 Swan /Bose/logitech Z623/harman kardon.I was in lot of confusion while ordering these. Wanted a 2.1 system (5.1 is just too many speakers to put up and manage). Budget was till 10K but finally settled on these as speakers in range of 7-8K were just speakers with no remote, USB or Fm functionality ( Logitech z623 and swan M10, Bose were some of the choices ).I compromised on the audio quality since I didn't want to lose functionality ( FM - I love listening to purani jeans at night, remote, USB) and these were a lot cheaper too. so in case, they go bad, won't pinch much. Also finding phillips service center in case of issue is far easier than hivi swan or other exotic brands. For this price, there is another option with same functionality in Creative brand. I just got these as this one had more positive reviews than creative product.Pros:1. Price - approx 3000 rs2. FM - channels are stored automatically once you scan them. Comes with FM antenna wire that plugs in back of sub woofer. FM reception is clear in my area. will depend on where you are located though.3, Remote4. Usb drive functionality - FAT32 till 16gb.4. Small LCD Display - though not very useful but adds a little bit to look5. Overall Looks6. comes with RCA to 3.55 connector audio cableCons:1. ok to moderate sound quality. Bass overpowers the music and it's not clear. But given the price, it's acceptable.2. display is just to show fm channel, audio level etc.3. No folder selection support in display while using pen drive. Big limitation. you have to skip each track one by one4. Remote sensitivity is not good and quality is poor too. I think I will purchase another remote just in case this one goes bad.5. Default volume is 20 ( product I received was manufactured in may 2016) so you have lower it down once you switch on the system6. Build quality though looks ok but all electronic components are housed along with subwoofer which obviously vibrates at high volume. I don't know if at this price, phillips has taken care to reduce vibration to electronic components or not. if not. then surely this will create issue later on.7. Major issue: lowest volume at level 1 is too high for listening to music at night. :-(Hope this helps you to make a right choice.Tip: you can buy bluetooth adapter to convert these or any of your speakers into wireless.Speakers sound good on Aux input with EQ settings customized on smartphone app ( not referring to speakers EQ ) for good audio output.

"The irony in this world is that we judge every single penny we spend and not the one we earn"
Like every other mediocre customer, I also go through the recent reviews of any product everytime I wish to buy something. But what I have found little disturbing while reading the reviews is how insanely people judges the countless number of items they are buying in today's online era.Yes of course, there are pros and cons for every product. But sometimes our hopes make us wish for endless pros and zero cons which however, if you see practically is plain stupdd. The reason for all these arguments might seem little melancholy to you, but most of us follow the same path because it is our hard earned money. Some might argue that so what? It is our right to get the best out of our money. Which is correct from this angle of perception but that doesn't give you any right to defame a superb product by highlighting the negative points only.Having said that, if I must analyse this product, these are the best set of speakers I have ever had. I won't go with same technical specifications like other people did because that can be verified at the product description anytime but rather I will try to cover up the experience one music lover had after using it for more than a month.1.)Looks are amazing. Every visitor notices these magic wands and ask for price. Sometimes, I make fool of them by stating big price(around 5-6k) just to see if they believe it for this sound piece. And most of them do believe it.2.) Being an avid music lover who is addicted to almost all the music genres, I can proudly say that this beauty is all you need. Be it base or pitch or beats, this really shows who the King of Jungle is.(I have used IBall and Creative speakers before for around 3 Years. So Count it.)3.) We Indians are crazy over two things : Free Things and Extra Benefits/Profits/Advantages!!.Features like FM, Remote Control, USB Ports, and excellent sound feels luxury to me with such price.4.)Now, Bickering is something which comes naturally to us. We human beings might not work over solution but we will continue lamenting about problem till we get tired of it.I am giving you few points to choose if you really want to bicker:=>Short Data Cable=>Base Control located in the Back Panel of Woofer=>Lack of Display Strip=>When the system starts, the volume level gets defaulted to Level 20.(Max is 30)If you choose to make petty issue out of these things, then trust me you won't ever feel contented with anything .Remember, You are spending some 3k(more or less if I suppose) and not more.Be less greedy and more grateful instead.Final Say: Go buy it if if for 2.1 Speakers. Well suited for Medium/small size Rooms.King Lucifer
