Love the new boxes!
Thank you Viva for improving the box design. I've been using for years, but the original ones had issues: boxes were bulky (seemed like lots of wasted space inside), and towels were not exactly perforated, but still attached, so i would pull out several at a time. The new towels are individually folded (a bit like kleenex), box is more compact, with the opening along one edge so you can place either horizontally or vertically. Even the box pattern is prettier (old one was dated looking). I paid around $21 for a case of 8, which is really good compared with other sites.

These are SO COOL with one tiny (HUGE) problem (for Me)
First off, I'm a Gigantic Viva Paper towel fan. They are the best in the biz, and they're usually the most expensive, but sometimes I'll pay more for quality (and other times I don't have to cuz COSTO hooks it up with quality AND value!!).I know when we have guests over and they notice we use Viva paper towels AND that we're willing to give out more than one square at a time they're thinking, "Wow, these people sure have taken my paper towel needs into account but more importantly...they have a DEEP respect for themselves".I LOVE the new Viva paper towel dispenser idea. I think they finally nailed the perfect size between a full sheet and one of the select a size sheets. I took a couple of photos with our universal remote modeling next to a sheet of the Viva for a size comparison. This dispenser is EVEN faster than pulling off a sheet from the roll in the kitchen IF you've got the box glued to the countertop.I have TWO problems with the new dispenser and here we go:1. I get that these are a "travel" solution but I'm using them in our home. The box moves when you pull a sheet out! It's great that the paper towels are packed and engineered to just dispense one at a time but it's so tight inside that you can't pull out a sheet (with one hand) without the box they're in moving a bit. I DON'T WANT the box to run away, though! Lots of times I've just washed my hands at the sink, and I don't want to have to secure the Viva box with one wet hand and pull out a sheet with the other. The only option is to secure the box behind something or put something substantial on top of the box or, worst case, just screw the box down to the countertop, lol, but that would REALLY have to be worst case. This leads me to my 2nd problem:2. I totally get that taste is subjective, but I can't stand the box designs. I mean, I CAN'T STAND them. If you watch the video up top, from Viva, the lady says something about the box looks like a cute piece of decor. I'm not mad at her but, HUH????? Gag me with a Viking ladle!Solutions:1. Spend time building a holder for the box out of wood, cardboard or whatever then paint and finish it how you'd like. That sounds like a P.I.T.A. for most of us but also maybe a fun weekend project.2. My solution. Two birds, one stone. I'm hiding the box and securing it at the same time! This is a solution for our home office, but you could implement it in the kitchen as well. I used two of these Scotch restickable dots Scotch(R) Restickable Mounting Dots, Clear Circles, Pack of 18 on the bottom of the Viva box and then tucked it neatly away on a shelf inside the desk. I'm SUPER excited by how it turned out (see photos).I'm also posting a picture I found online of a kleenex box just to show you a box design that I much prefer, though I don't completely love IT either.I have no idea why my fiance says I'm impossible to please. I'm puppily easy to please if everything's done my way :)I think if this were any other brand I'd give it 3 stars, but it's VIVA. You don't give Viva 3 stars...You just don't.Hope this was helpful!!

Opposite Of Convenient
Opening the box:First you have to remove a plastic wrap that does nothing, and oddly, doesn’t cover the sides of the box where I suppose a tiny amount of dust or maybe a bug could get in, where there are folded flaps. Next you have to pull off the cardboard covering the slot, however it is very poorly scored and never tears away easily, so you have to spend a minute ripping all of the leftover cardboard away. Next there is a clear plastic film through which the towels are pulled out but it hasn’t been pre-cut, only scored, so you have to stick your finger through and slide along to open it. This also is poorly scored so you end up just ripping a big uneven gash in the plastic. Now you’re ready to enjoy.Pulling towels out:Towels don’t come out particularly easy and since the towels come out at an angle rather than the top, combined with the box being skinny and tall, it often tips over. When the box is about half empty or more you can easily lift the whole thing right up off of wherever it’s sitting and then it falls to the floor leaving a towel in your hand. If you rest it on a towel bar in a bathroom to replace hand towels, it constantly falls forward off the bar, and the box is too thick to wedge between the wall and bar.I guess I could go on about the towels themselves but you get the idea. This is an awful product, thoughtlessly slapped together, probably to compete with that other brand that started boxing paper towels. Either get the other brand or just open up a sleeve of good quality paper napkins and leave them in a stack wherever they will be handy.

Cute idea, not easy to get out....
Once I discovered Viva paper towels, that was it. They are the best most absorbent for any mess. They are pricier, but worth the money. I loved the design and idea to be able to put these in every room for easy access......BUT I'm bummed they aren't easy to get out of the box, especially with one hand! It's definitely frustrating, and I hope they fix that soon.

So handy. I keep the box in place using the double stick tape.
These are wonderful! I keep a box next to my chair on my table To keep it in place, I use that tape that is sticky on both sides. Today, as I could not find my glasses wipe, I used one after spraying my glasses. I could not believe how clean the glasses came...no lint, no scratching...just very clean glasses. I hope they will get them in stock, soon, as I am getting to need more. I love them to use as napkins when I sit in my chair, munching on anything that needs a quick clean up. So handy, box stuck to the table, until empty, then do over. Great buy!

GREAT PAPER TOWELS!!!
I LOVE these paper towels for my bathroom. I no longer have to have the Large roll of paper towels in there. And it only requires a small space and the color of the boxes are pretty. It also cuts down the waste of paper towels because Viva paper towels are thick., and you get one at a time! Thank You Amazon, SUGA in Lorain, Ohio

Great product- tons of uses!
I LOVE these! It is so convenient to place around the house where paper towels may be needed. The one up at a time makes it easy to grab just VIBAone handed. The box size fits nicely on the counter or nightstand. I keep a box in the bedroom, kitchen and family room. They are also good for the car. Never be without a quick clean up solution again. Not only are they convenient- they are VIVA my favorite - most absorbent , softest paper towel ever!If you found this review helpful please click the button below to let Amazon know. Thanks
