For ages I have been using five gallons buckets from Lowe's or Home depot when I went fishing. The problem is, I then had to also lug around my wallet to carry the extra $37 dollars that I didn't spend because I had not bought a YETI bucket. I also noticed that the bottled perrier water that I wash my truck with didn't have quite the same cleaning power when carried in a standard five gallon bucket as it does when carried in a YETI bucket. I must admit, my wife was unimpressed with this item until I won her over with the optional lid for only an additional $29.99.

Best poop ever!
Thanks YETI. When I’m in the woods camping and a regular $3 bucket won’t do....this is the most expensive bucket I’ve ever pooped in. I feel like I’ve finally arrived!

This is a nice bucket.
This is a nice bucket. I’ve seen a lot of buckets in my day and this is a nice bucket. You wouldn’t put your fried chicken in a $5 Home Depot bucket, but you can put your fried chicken in this bucket. Heck you can flip it over and use it as a seat for ice fishing, then when you catch something, you just flip it back over and put your fish in it. Can’t do that with a $5 bucket, can you. It’s a nice bucket.

Needlessly expensive, but well made
It's a crazy expensive bucket, but it really is built well. Use it to carry fishing stuff, as a makeshift seat, fill it with some water and store fish.

Quality Quality Quality!
Was tired of buying those cheap HD buckets just to have them fail after few uses. Not to mention the extremely uncomfortable handles. This thing is awesome but is an investment.

Excellent
Excellent product, very high quality. For years I’ve used blind bags for out in the duck blind. In Minnesota it can get very cold, snowy or rainy. The bags would get soaked even if water resistant/proof. This bucket has the room for all the essentials, it’s extremely sturdy and doubles as a seat. The lid stays secure, but it’s not a struggle to get it off either. Would highly recommend for hunting, fishing or any other use.

Very happy
This bucket is great for going to a barbeque or the beach. We bought it for beers and since have purchased 2 more as gifts who also love it. You can buy a lid but even without the lid the ice stays good

Best gift ever
Bought this for my son-in-law for Christmas. Hit the jackpot. He loves it. He went right out and purchased the lid. He is an avid outdoorsman. What a great item.
