Pretty good until the end... Solid 3/5
So i'll do a quick TL;DR - Graphics Card performance and sound was brilliant until a few months later...So I had been planning on building a budget gaming Pc for 4 years now. (Didn't make money since I was in school for the first 2 years) and it was long overdue since summer was around the corner and I knew I'd be making good money to actually be able to pay for the parts I wanted.I had the case, the motherboard, the ram all sorted but I was stuck on the Gpu of choice. Now I could of went for the top brands like Asus or Msi but they were expensive, but I saw palit having a deal exclusive to prime members. £215 for the Gpu with free shipping. Sorted! I bought it and a couple days later it came early, so I was hyped to build it and so I did.Now Its my first time building a full pc and the thought running through my head was "Don't worry it's just delicate lego you'll be grand." And that kept me going for a 3 hour nerve racking sweat expelling experience of my life but the outcome was beautiful.Fast forward a couple months and I started having problems, random bluescreening out of nowhere when playing games and same happened just watching videos. I was getting frustrated with it all since I kept up to date with the driver updates for Nvidia. So I came to my breaking point while I was playing Tom Clancy's The Division. Boom bluescreen... I un-plugged everything and headed to bed to wake up the next day and bring it to a pc specialist in my neighbouring town, I left it with him and waited impatiently for the next week. Eventually came the day, he had cleaned my first hard drive (I have 2) and reinstalled windows but when I came into the store my jaw dropped the Gpu was on top of the case. I kept thinking please let that not be at fault please let it not be... but unfortunately it was. He had said that it was a possible rom failure since the graphics card could be plugged in, although I couldn't play games. I was heartbroken, he said everything else was perfectly fine but the Gpu was at fault so I would have to use a different one for the time being. So right now I'm stuck with a 970 until I can find a better branded Gpu to play with. Palit you're a good brand but I'm probably the 1/10 of people to have a Gpu failure, it's unfortunate but hey, that's life I'll just carry on gaming until something better pops up for me.

Good card
Many people question if this is a worthy card to the 970gtx: yes and no is the honest answer. You're dealing with new tech and a more gpu memory with this card for roughly the same price as the 970 on release.Obviously the latest tech will bring benefits in FPS but exactly how much in real terms?3dmark gives an increase in about 400 points on the latest DC12 benchmark at 1080. (I7, 20gb ram,win 10 64bit)In gaming terms then The Witcher 3 on high/ultra at a steady 60fps or Forza Horizon 3 on high defaults at 60fps.So yes you are getting quality bang for buck at 1080. This card won't push 4K at decent qualities and it's probably base entry for decent VR.The Palit jetstream has great airflow and superb cooling. Boot LEDS on the card are pretty pointless but to add some lighting to your case. This is a big card though so ensure you have a deep case! Finally the latest chipset means less power so a standard single 6 pin gpu power plug is all that's required.

The best gtx 1060 of them all
top class GPU the best looking and 1 of the cheapest 1060's around. rgb lights, a nice clean metal backplate and has all the normal stuff aswell. great card for overclocking to. i have mine running at 2016mhz clock speed with custom fan profile and it added easily 15-20 percent increase in frame rates. the card doesnt throttle at high load so your clock will stay above 2000 and not throttle back because of heat or power issues. with my card overclocked and running custom fan profile my temps dont go above 60degrees even under heavy gaming load. all round its perfect. way better than my gtx 970. if you got budget and cant afford a 1070 i would certainly choose this card from palit. every gpu i ever had is palit and every 1 was great, this is even better

already using this Gpu for a 3 years no problem at all wort the money but now its no reason to buy it in 2020 or 2021 for 300£ you could find a better gpu for this money but 3 years ago it was good card and no problems at all the highest temp i ever had was 70-78
