Yes, not only is the dial hard to read, this watch is so poorly made you might not get even a day -- or a couple hours -- out of it before it breaks. ... I got this as a birthday gift for my daughter who likes purple and is learning to tell time. She opened it this morning. I set it and 20 minutes later noticed it was slow. Hmmm. Battery? Shortly after that, the second hand stopped working all together. Unfortunately, it's too late to send it back, because I bought it a month before her birthday. Oh well. This is the perfect watch for the consumer who enjoys setting fire to her money in the parking lot and having nothing to show for it. ...

She really likes it !I gave this watch to my granddaughter as a Christmas gift. She really likes the color and the "sparkles", and in this digital world, it's still good to learn to read a watch without various other bells and whistles. The band is soft and conforms easily to her small wrist with ample holes in the band. It will be interesting to know how well it holds up and I'll revisit this review if need be. I also told her that every time I get to visit, we always have a good "time".My only drawback to the watch is that there weren't instructions included in the box for her to show how to set time, proper care etc.

I'm petite although there are many people smaller than me, but I have the tiniest hands, wrists, and bones. So, I must buy children's watches, as adult ladies watches have wrist bands that are too big, and the watches dangle loosely and uncomfortably on my arm, and look and feel terrible. This way, it fits, and I can still have more room to tighten it, if I wish. I don't necessarily want something that has cartoon figures on it, though, or looks too juvenile. So, I like this watch. It fits my wrist, its pretty, and it does the job. And, it didn't cost an arm and a leg. What more could I want?

Our 7 year old daughter received this watch for Christmas, just in time for a time telling unit in second grade. She really likes the pretty watch and wears it almost everyday, plus it worked well for helping her learn to tell time. It is bit large, but we can get it small enough to fit her wrist.

Was a Christmas gift for an 8 yr. old. She loves it and the color. Her mother says that she looks at her watch every hour to check the time. Works great and a really good price.

Bought this for my 7 year old daughter and she loves it! I love how she was so excited to work on telling time and how quickly she improved after only 1 day of wearing it! Would definitely recommend!

I can't speak to the function of this watch because it's a Christmas gift and she hasn't opened it yet. But I can speak to the appearance of it and it's very pretty. I think she's going to love it.
