Nice Wax For Non-Container Candles!
Flakes are easy to measure, and the wax burns slow and BEAUTIFUL!!! I have switched from the brand I was using for this brand as it is a bit cheaper. I even made my Niece's unity candle using this wax!

NOT comparable to the original Pillar Blend, do not waste your money!
If you were a fan of the original EcoSoya Pillar Blend, you will HATE this.I have been making pillar candles with the PB blend for several years and it was perfect, but the Quantum 230 formula is NOT even comparable with it. I spent hours researching the 230 wax and purchased it here on Amazon because I knew I could return it if it didn't work out and I am SO glad I did this, because many people on a popular candle-making site did not. I followed the new temperature guides for this wax and also tested with the old. I even tried a heavier fragrance load, closer to 15% (18% is recommended for melts, which is absurd)! To save you time I will list the pros and cons to this new formula:Cons:-More expensive than original PB.-Wax and finished candle smell of vinegar.-Pastilles are too soft, resulting in a softer candle.-Wax takes longer to cool and set.-Wax is prone to breaking off during removal from rigid molds.-Cured candles have NO cold throw unless you hold the candle to your nose and even then it is faint.-Hot throw is virtually non-existent.Pros:-Finished candle have a slightly glassy appearance which is pleasing IF you can remove them from the mold without damage AND if you do not touch them, as the wax is very easily dented and nicked.Don't waste your money on this new formulas folks, NGI really goofed this one up.I miss my old Pillar Blend SOOO much!

Two Stars
It's a fine wax, just not for actual pillars unless you mix is with a non-soy wax.

Perfect Blend for Wax Melts
CB-PB is the perfect blend for wax melts. When I buy from others the melts are usually too soft, so they are difficult to get out of the shell and I end up with wax smeared on my fingers and various surfaces. These snap right out in as many pieces as you want, but still melt nicely. It also takes color evenly and has a decent scent throw, though you might need to use a higher-concentration formula such as saveonscents' Ultra. I have not tried these in candles, I use a different wax blend meant for containers.

Great WAX!
Love this wax, I make my wax melts with this wax and just started using it from a suggestion, love the "hardness" of the wax for melts to go in clamshell packaging but most of all love the curing time it took for my melts to cure and give a great HT only about 4-5 days. Very pleased with smooth finish and NO FROSTING! YAY!
