Tired of battling this printer
This printer has so many issues. It intermittently stops during a printing run and sometimes it resumes but most of the time you have to have to restart the printer and make sure the serial numbers and blank labels are correct and or removed so you don't have bad labels in the middle of a run. The LCD screen burned out almost immediately, see photo. It won't print PDF images without a 1inch margin on the label. It constantly needs to realign and uses A4 paper to do it. They include a few sheets when you buy it, but prepare to order a reem of A4 if you want to print more than once. If an ink cartridge gets to less than 20% full it needs to be replaced. If it needs to be replaced during a print run, shut down the print and restart because it won't restart on its own. I have talked with customer service many times. They are really nice and keep telling me it is a cable issue. I have replaced the printer cable multiple times hoping this was the issue. It's not. In general, its a frustrating piece of equipment that I wish I had never bought.

Thank You Primera
My company, °Coolway Hair, purchased one of these printers from Primera in Feb of 2016. After using it for approx 5 months, i would not want to be without it. The print quality is wonderful and a quick glance under the hood tells me this machine borrows tech from HP's large format plotters.Setup took me no longer than 30 mins. The included software was a breeze to install as well. Also included with the printer was a nicely put together package of support and warranty documentation and a sturdy spiral bound users manual.(rare these days) The manual was easy to follow, and answered almost all of my setup questions. The few questions iv'e had since then, i've used the live chat support on the Primera Website. I found their support representatives to be courteous, knowledgeable, and prompt with answers to my questions about the Printer as well as label stock ordering. The very few questions iv'e had, have been answered in 5 to 15 mins. Also the printers ability to print on irregular shaped labels that are in rows of two down the roll is a big plus. Front and Back labels in one print job. Major time saver. The versatility this printer has, allows us to print all of our labels in-house, reducing our overall cost of labeling. The LX2000 model printer and supplies available from Primera have made them my "One Stop Shop" for all of my labeling supplies. A Big Thank You to Primera, my transition to in-house label printing was painless and easy with your help.

This printer is not only affordable but also provides nice and crisp prints. I did have to call tech support for some minor problems which was resolved very quickly. I am satisfied with this printer.

Bad Printer, Bad Customer Service, Terrible way to run a business.
Currently I have had nothing but problems with this printer. I purchased in Jan of 2016 and have been on tech support 5 times (once a month). Tech support seems always insists on taking control of your computer to change settings in the printer. The printer will then work for approximately 3 weeks then one day according to the tech support "forgets its setting, but it isn't a huge problem, just call them and they can fix it for you again." Each support call lasts between 3 to 5 hours to get the printer back online and working again.30% of my labels since owning this machine have been made with my old printer that is painfully slow however gets the job done. Print quality is not as good however when orders are dependent on labels they must go out. If you plan on purchasing this printer as your only print option be advised, tech support is painful, and in Jamaica. The person on the other end you will barely be able to understand and he will ask you to restart the machine over and over for at least the first hour. Primera will not send you a replacement but insist on fixing your unit. That process takes anywhere from 3 weeks to 2 months to get your printer back. You will also be paying the shipping both ways for the warranty of a 3 month old printer that has produced less than 4500 labels.Buyer beware and do some research on other printers before purchasing a Primera.

I returned this printer back to the Seller. I had so many problems with the printer. Bought another brand that had worked right out of the box.

Great product and service
My experience with both this printer and the company has been excellent. Had been in contact with the company for about a year before purchasing and heard that the LX2000 was coming out. Their sales were very helpful in answering questions and getting label samples. Purchased in May 2016 and needed support help to get it printing from Illustrator on the Mac. Online chat with their support folks was fast, accurate, and helped a ton. Have used it a handful of times with the same result.As far as the printer goes, very happy with it as well. I am using it to print front and back labels that are applied with their AP-362 Labeler and they work well together. Quality of the label is very good. My biggest challenge was in figuring out which label stock to use as the printed result will vary with what you choose. All in all, very satisfied. Will buy from them again.

Constant issues
Constant connectivity issues. Restarting printer and computer sometimes works, but most of the time doesn't. Settings and offsets are always changing. Alignment is always an issue, color is off unless you have specific settings in the printer utility and even then doesn't match the design work. Primera printer utility is slow and unresponsive. Wireless printing is a nightmare to connect to. you are required to use A4 paper to do the printer alignment, can't use standard 8.5 x 11. Customer service with Primera is terrible. Fake 5 star reviews for what? clout? for almost $4000 a printer should not have so many issues.

Worth the investment -- Great Price for the quality.
I have owned the Primera for 4 months produced over 80,000 labels of short runs (1-3000 per run). Installed perfect on windows 10. May be worthwhile to upgrade design software if you make a large variety of different labels. Have not needed customer support if you read the manual.
