Add smoke, carbon monoxide, and water leak protection to your ADT Home Security Starter Kit, and initiate optional ADT professional monitoring services, receive alerts, or set connected devices to turn on and off when smoke, carbon monoxide, or a water leak is detected in your home. Requires an ADT Security Hub (sold separately). Will not pair with the SmartThings Hub product.

Waste of time and money.
It’s 4 in the morning, I tried setting this up at 10 last night. It took about 20 attempts to get it to get these connected. I still only managed to get my smoke alarm connected after working on it for 3 hours. Now it says that the alarm has been tampered with and won’t stop beeping. It’s asking for a pass code. I never set up a pass code. I was never asked to set one up. When I tried to follow the steps to set one up earlier it said network error. Sorry about spelling and grammar errors, it’s hard to type correctly at 4 in the morning after being woken up.

These sensors are constantly losing connectivity with the Smart Home Hub
These sensors are constantly losing connectivity with the Smart Home Hub, even if it's right next to it (I moved them all to be together for several days to test this). In addition to the complete loss of being able to know when there's O2/Fire, the hub only notifies you of a loss in connection at around 2 am the next morning, regardless of when it lost the connection. This is a super annoying series of beeps that continues until you get out of bed, put in your code, and tap through all the menus to tell the hub to "ignore the problem." No matter how many times you do this, this exercise is repeated several nights a week. Finally sent it back and got the Nest solution which was way less expensive, way easier to set up, way nicer-looking and is way more reliable.

Peace of mind!
Knowing that you can get notified immediately if something wrong is priceless.I've installed and tested the sensors and they work great!I love the fact that in addition to the notification that you get to your phone I also get a text (in case internet is not available) to tell me about an issue and also when the issue was cleared.

Great Addition to the ADT-SmartThings Hub
Added the Smoke, Carbon Monoxide, and Water Leak detectors to my current system. Seem to be quality sensors which add that extra layer of protection to keep the family safe.Although they are all sensors that I hope never go off unless I’m doing my monthly “Walk Test”, it gives me a greater deal of comfort knowing they are keeping a constant watch on the house. I always change the batteries on important sensors like these Bi-annually (daylight savings / standard time changes) but if you prefer you can check in at any time to see the battery level or set it up so your system alerts you when the batteries are starting to get low. Set-Up / Adding these onto my current system was easy and I had no major problems. On the Smoke alarm it didn’t pair the first time, but if you follow the directions it gives clear instructions on what to do if that happens. Did a reset and it paired fine the second time.

Works great
I've had none of the disconnect problems of the other reviewer. Works great with my SmartThings ADT hub, which by the way has been great overall. Highly recommend.

Good to have for when your away
One set not enough to cover your home, but one set all you need to get a alart on your phone. I use non smart fire alarms in my other rooms, and keep the smart ones in the main hall.
