Great product, I use it almost every day, it's changed the way I eat for the better
I couldn't live without this! I used to eat a lot of pasta but recently discovered I'm wheat intolerant. Now I use this almost every day to spiralize courgettes, sweet potatoes and butternut squash. (I found a blog called Inspiralized which offers loads of great recipe idea using spiralized vegetables.)This device is very easy to use. I do struggle a bit with butternut squash but sweet potatoes are so easy to spiralize. The Spirali is also really easy to clean, I just rinse each piece in soapy water and use a long handled scrubbing brush so my fingers don't risk getting sliced on the blades.Within weeks of owning this I had to order one for my friend who is now also obsessed, and it's great for getting her 4 year old to eat more fruit and vegetable "worms" too ;)

Well thought out and built product.
I've only been using this product for a few days and already I'm hooked. Sharp blades, ease of use and clever integral storage of the blades that are not in use make this a dream to have in the kitchen. It seems sturdily made with two handles to push the item being cut forwards and good suction holding the spirali solidly on the kitchen worktop so you don't have to find something to wedge it against as you cut the veggies (although having seen how easily it handled a carrot I think it might cope very easily with something like a chorizo as well). It's also far easier to clean than my mandoline, with a quick run under the tap immediately after use being all it's needed so far. Wish I'd bought it sooner and not bothered with my mandolin.

Brilliant idea but poor construction
The concept is brilliant and I would give this 5 stars on that alone. However the construction of this item is not that great. The thread for the handle was not aligned properly and therefore after several uses, the turning mechanism did not work. I've emailed customer services at Lurch to obtain replacement part but have received no response. As I needed the spiralizer to work, luckily I found someone to fix it. It is too flimsy for what it is designed to do. I don't know if other brands would be the same but construction wise, they all look similar. It would be good to source one that is sturdier, but I've not managed to find one.I would be cautious about buying from this company again as a couple of months on there is still no response.Great for carrots and courgettes but any hardier vegetables such as butternut squash and beetroot the spirals may not separate as easily or as smoothly for softer vegetables. I wouldn't recommend this particular item for purchase but would recommend the technique or the concept.

Just buy it! Good quality and makes you healthy
Really great! Changed my way of eating with more raw veg incorporated with every meal. Cuts through every vegetable I've tried with relative ease. My favourite is peppers, slices them up perfect using the flat blade, for an exciting salad with minimal waste because you just chuck the part full of seeds. With regard to carrots and such yes you have a core left of 'wasted' veg but me and my daughter love to nibble on that while prepping food so no different from other methods just more fun. Cleaning wise it can be a bit fiddly with the blades but I find washing immediately with a long bristled brush eliminates the problems, if you don't have time straight away just leave it to soak so nothing gets dried on. I can't recommend this highly enough for someone who wants to improve their diet with minimal expense and effort. It's minutes to prepare a quick salad and because everything is cut so fine any dressing covers more surface so every mouthful is delicious. Just get one, they are amazing

very good- beats the cheaper, smaller spiralizers
Very simple to use. Definitely a big step up from the hand held tube type spiralizer I had before: Very quick to make loads of veggies and less wastage- there is a thin core left behind and a centimetre or so of the whole veggie but this can still be chopped and used separately- much less wastage than with hand held spiralizer. Quick to clean. You need to push against the blade for hard veggies and the machine wants to move but it just takes a bit of getting used to and a smooth surface for the grips to stick to. Ideal for courgette spaghetti, making spiralled and thinly sliced veggies for stir fries and salads. Light weight. Seems robust so far and stores well- recommended

Love it! Carrot curls in seconds
It's not as complicated as it looks - I spent a moment or two looking at it, along with the pictures in the manual, and realised it's actually very nicely designed and quite intuitive to use. The spare blades store away neatly in the side of the machine and pop out when you click the little green buttons, the main blade comes out easily for cleaning, and once you've secured the vegetable onto the holding spikes you can have thinly-sliced lovely fresh healthy vegetables in seconds. I have used it every day since I got it - quicker and more fun to turn a handle than stand there chopping.PS Edited to add - do be careful with the blades! Despite reading the warnings (each blade has a warning about its sharpness taped over it so you are forced to read before use) I still managed to nick myself trying to wiggle the leftover core of a carrot out from where it was stuck. My own fault!

Impeccable

Good, not great.
I loved it when I first got it, but it quickly became annoying and ended up donating to second hand store. It's bulky and a bit of a pain to clean and very rickety when you're spiralizing. Takes a bit more effort than you would expect. I got my mum one from Kmart where you push the thing down instead of horizontal, it's way better as gravity is working for you too.

Fantastic spiralizer
Years ago, I made the mistake of buying a hand spiralizer thinking, "yaaas Tiffany, save your money, don't worry about getting that hand cranking one, yikes!" Like I said, I made a mistake. Do not buy a stupid hand spiralizer. You think you're saving money, but you're actually just throwing it down the trash.Get this spiralizer instead. The Lurch spiralizer is 100% worth every penny. Easy to clean, easy to use, & it makes wonderful zoodles. I've only used one setting so far, but I'm sure the others churn out some great spiral veggies. Let your imagine go wild! Spiralize carrots, zucchini, cucumber, etc. Highly recommend!!!

Me encanta.
