GiviBF11 Tanklock Tank Ring

For those checking/unsure, as per Givi website, this BF11 model *is* the correct one for a Speed Triple 1200 RS.

Like other reviewer's I was perhaps being bit nieve, in expecting the complete fitting to attach a tank bag. All you get is a half moon piece of metal with four holes in it! But, having said that it fits perfectly on my bike. I ordered the actual tank bag online from another website and, it came complete with the plastic 'clamp ring'. So no problems there. I suppose the only downside is that you are paying what seems a relatively lot of the money for a stampede out bit of metal, that probably cost about 50p. Ah well, we live and learn. 😞. Just one more thing, if I was still working, I could have knocked one of these up in half an hour!

\good item, however it was not "handed to me on the doorstep" as stated, it was rammed halfway into letter box, didn't even knock, anyone could have taken it.

Be warned before purchasing this item. You only get the metal horseshoe ring and 4 bolts. You do not get the actual plastic cover which connects your bag. The Image shown is VERY deceiving as it shows the complete tank lock. You need to buy the plastic lock ring separate. Go to givi.....

Generally good but one of the bolts supplied has rusted after getting wet once!

Although it is not listed anywhere - this fitting DOES fit a BMW R1100RS 1993. But note, I discovered that this item is just the metal fitting and tank bolts - and does not include the plastic Tanklock Flange that the bag attached to - this I had to order separately. The service form this supplier was good and I am now able to use my Givi tank bag on both of my bikes.

Does the job but SOOO expensive for what it actually is!Wish the bolts were TORX head to match the others on the GS.

Essential add on if you want a GIVI Tankbag. Slightly pricey, given that the bag is already expensive, but very easy to fit and does its job well.
