Electric Shaver Co SSstar Facial Trimmer for Women

I am a great fan of facial hair trimmers and female facial shaving which I only discovered earlier this year, due to undertaking some home IPL which required shaving only in-between (Unfortunately, the IPL for facial hair reduction did not work for me!). Therefore, I have continued with trimmers and shavers and the occasional epi - stick - painful but effective - this is quite a nifty device, it removes the hairs, even some coarser darker ones effectively. It can leave the skin smooth in some areas, but for me, just as with normal shaving, I find that the really coarse areas it still leaves skin rough and doesn't remove stubble as well, like most trimmers, in order to get a really smooth finish if you are removing anything other than fine facial fuzz, you need to let it grow a little bit I think. For me, hair grows back exactly the same as other trimmers, but in some areas I have managed to get the skin smoother on the initial hair removal. It is however completely painless (although it can get warm), easy to use and clean and it is great that the hair collects inside the device (it is very satisfying to empty) It is good for small areas other than the face, but it isn't really big enough for large areas. I just have the following niggles about it - the little motor inside the top popped out upon the third use, which is a bit of a pain to keep putting it back in again and although it is still usable, I think that this part is quite delicate and I would like to know if it is possible to buy a replacement head, if not, I shall order another in future, it comes with a brush for cleaning, which is useful but there is nowhere to store this in the device which would be useful, or a pouch to store this in, although it is quiet when it is operation, it isn't silent, so other than my car, I would be a little bit embarrassed to use it elsewhere because of the noise! I am however, very happy with my purchase. The item came quickly on the day described and it is a great little device to remove hair quickly and painlessly - just remember it is a trimmer and it doesn't shave as close as a razor - highly recommended!

A product that actually does what it says it does!! Absolutely deserves 5* all the way. I've tried waxing/creams (which burnt) and anything else I could, to try and get rid of the hairy neck/chin peach fuzz, oh and let's not forget the moustache. Oh how I love getting old 🤣. Anyway back to it. I was both horrified and delighted at just how much hair was in the chamber after I used it for the first time. Within minutes of it arriving I was already using it. And shock horror delight not one hair is left behind (although that's debatable because my eyes are also going downhill) however, given the amount shown in the picture I think it's a pretty accurate description. I am absolutely delighted! Super easy to use and clean. Highly recommended and I would definately buy again. Arrived earlier than expected as well. Still can't believe the amount of hair! Outstanding product and completely painfree. Sod the waxing, there is absolutely no difference in the feel of the skin, silky smooth. Worth every penny 👌👌

I saw this advertised and thought I would take a gamble as at the price it seemed like too good an opportunity to miss. I was worried it wouldn't be any good but I was really very pleasantly surprised. I would definitely recommend!! It's super easy to use, discreet, quick & painless and the light is really handy. My only slight issue is that whilst it works amazingly on fine hair like peach fuzz, on any hair slightly thicker it does make it a bit stubbly. Perfect for doing upper lip or chin hair in a hurry - it takes seconds!

I was really pleasantly surprised by this product. It's a bit bigger than a lipstick, but still easy to fit into a cosmetic purse. It looks pretty classy and came on time and well-packaged. I don't know the wizardry behind it, but it painlessly takes off all the 'peach fluff' off my face in a few circular motions. It works particularly well on my upper lip and sideburns! So much easier than waxing, however the few dark, thicker hairs are more of a problem. The hair remover does cut the hair down to the surface, but then you can see black dots and the hairs grow back really quickly- so I would recommend continuing to pluck/use something else to get rid of those stray hairs. All-in-all a really efficient product, much cheaper than visiting a salon and a lot less painful than waxing!

The item I received had clearly been used before or did not appear to be genuine. There were scratches on the lid and the internal barrel was covered in fingerprints. The battery compartment was of poor construction. There was no instruction leaflet. I immediately asked to return the item for a refund and was offered a discount which I refused. I was then refunded the full cost of the item. I then ordered one from a national chemist at about £10 dearer and what arrived was pristine with two peel off seals on the body of the shaver. The battery compartment was well made and there was an illustrated leaflet advising on the care and use of the product. The item from the chemist works very well. I was not prepared to put the one from here to the test.

It does remove all the fine hair on your face, quickly and pain free, but it’s a razor so when you run your hands over your face you can feel stubble! Not ideal as now I need to do it every day!

This worked really well when first purchased and thought it was great. Unfortunately after following the instructions to clean it nothing would work! Checked I'd put it all back right and it makes a noise but nothing happens. It's now too late to return it. Could have been good but just be careful when cleaning as it doesn't seem to like it. Shame really as it would be a great product.
