Very nice deep reflector
AIt's quite good made reflector. Reflects nicely and it has a three pin plug (UK). It came packed in box which should protect item from impact ... so it looks like someone already bang a side of it, tiny bump (that's why 4stars) It maybe because of material of dome is very light. Nothing major, I guess my tortoises won't mind anyway it doesn't affect functionality. It give quit good shine, using UVA & UVB bulb, e27(26W). Tested in ceramic long e37 (75W), all went well .. ordering this one again. I'd even welcome larger size 25cm+ would be nice.

Large heavy shade be aware
Shade arrived exactly as described to accommodate new bulb. However the bulb and shade were too heavy to be on a pole that was only stuck to the tortoise box with sticky pads and nearly caused a house fire after it collapsed into the tortoise box.

Fits the Exo Terra 160W mercury vapour lamp perfectly.
Stepped up from a 80W to 160W mercury vapour lamp for my tortoise, so needed a bigger shade. Smaller shades can overheat and cause a fire risk and also shorten the bulbs life span. This is an excellent size and has the hanging hook and on/off switch all included. Just what I needed.Review asks about longevity and versatility, well it will last as long as the tortoise needs it and as for versatility it's a heat proof bulb holder, only has one use, so figure it out.
