Best thing with no need for a starter. There's no need to wait for it to cool down before turning it back on. And it's cheaper to run too.

Bulb has blown within 2 months
Hi, I have tried to find how to contact you but have been unsuccessful, this is my only means of communicating. I hope you can come back to me. I bought this lamp at the end of September and it has already blown this morning. What is the lifespan of the bulb? Previous bulbs have lasted about 12 months. Only lasted 8 weeks, this is my second purchase
Bulb blew within a 2 months. You get a guarantee but it needs to be sent back to the manufacturer, which I suppose is fine but lots of hassle and time.I am now trying the Arcadia bulb and hope this is better. This is the second bulb I have bought which has not lasted more than 8 weeks.I hope the Arcadia bulbs are better and if not I will need to change setup and use separate UV lights and basking lamp.
