Not for fat fingers
Secure combination lock but if your dexterity is limited like mine it's a bit fiddly to turn

Good lock from a reputable company
Works fine. How thief proof it is, I have no idea....but I guess it helps to put thieves off just like any other lock

I sent the first one back and the replacement also did not work well
This is an absolutely inferior product. The first item that was delivered frankly did not work at all. The replacement worked but was so difficult to operate as its locking mechanism kept jamming.Furthermore, although I received confirmation that Amazon had received the returned faulty item, I recently received notification that I was to be charge TWICE for this item and am unable to see how to sort this out.Not in keeping with the exellent service I have come to expect, and have expterienceed, from Amazon and its partners.

Good Design - but not the strongest.
This is fine for a quick lock where it doesn't really matter - but would not last long if attacked. Great as a bike lock when out shopping etc or for a garden shed.Positives - Choose your own code, Easy to use the oversized mechanism.Negatives - Does not look particularly strong, so would not trust it for high-value items. This is a good, cheap combo lock that is reliable and easy to operate. But not a high security device!

Rather disappointing in use
It’s really easy to set the combination and it’s a decent looking lock BUT it doesn’t lock / unlock smoothly despite aligning the numbers perfectly with the indicator. The arm feels like it’s catching on something and more effort is needed to ensure it’s fully pushed into place before attempting to lock it.Makes opening and closing the lock really annoying, my cheap combination padlock from PureGym which cost me £5 a few years ago is so much better. Not worth the £12 I paid imo but it’s so far kept the contents of my work locked safe from sticky fingers.

The price for a quality product surprised me.
Five tumbler locks are rare. We are having problems with the tumblers getting stuck. We tried to find out from Yale if this is a known problem but the answer was that we are using it outside. Nothing in the description says anything about outside use. Also the problem started almost immediately. We found out how to free the tumblers when they stick and the lock is doing what it was bought for.

good quality
heavy duty, good quality, dials a bit stiff but will ease with use.

Not the most sturdy lock.
I bought by brand name, Yale but it’s not what I expected, cheap and nasty.
