Carlisle Radial Trail HD Trailer Tire- ST175/80R13 96M 8PR

I have used this brand of tire since they came out with them. They have been improved over the previous model. My disappointment with them is that they are made in China. I have had problems with this brand in the past, I had one blow out and caught the other before it blew while travelling from San Diego to Dallas. Both tires were about two years old with plenty of thread and had about 1000 miles before I started on my trip during the summer from San Diego to Dallas and both failed within 300 miles of each other. I believe heat might have been a factor and in fairness I was travelling at a sustained 75 to 80 mph for many hours. Despite the speed and heat I don't think I should have not had a problem with tire failure even at that speed.Failure to the side, I still have some confidence in these tires. As I have these tires in a larger size on my fifth wheel and have travelled many miles on them and have had no issues to date.

I put these on as I wanted more of a street tire tread pattern and I drive 70 - 75mph down the highway with my trailer. I just took them on their maiden voyage from Vegas to LA and back last weekend and they performed very well. I hauled my trailer out empty and had about 1100lbs of motorcycle on it on the way back. I ran with 50lbs of air in the tires. They look excellent, no cupping, or any other odd wear patterns were noticable. Also ran through some rain and a little icy conditons and they performed very well. Couldn't be happier with the quality and performance from these tires! Now I need to get one for my spare!

First off the shipping was within three days. The date codes were about four months old. Mounted them to our 18fbrs micro lite travel trailer. We took a round trip vacation to Tennessee approx 1800 miles and not one issue. They kept their psi on all four tires . When they heated up the psi on all four tires was exact. These tires are well made and would highly recommend

These tires are a great value for an 81MPH rated trailer tire. I put 2000 miles on them for a spring break trip, no problems at all. Tires were cool at every gas stop. Manufacturer date was less than 6 months old, so tires were fresh stock which is very important. Tire build quality and appearance looks better than some no-name brands I've seen.

Not impressed. The tire I received is 2 years old and it shows. DOT number states it was made in the 19th week of 2018!(today is 07/22/2020). I needed a tire due to a blow out but these trailer tires usually last 4-5 yrs. Because this one is already 2 yrs old I will only get half the life out of it. I would return but I'm afraid I'll get an older tire shipped the second time. Will not buy again.

I replaced OEM bias-ply tires with these radial tires for a recent trip with my motorcycle trailer. The tires were awesome. The trailer tracked perfectly and as expected. The quality on this tire was noticeably higher than the original equipment tire I replaced.

I took these to a local tire dealer for mounting on my 17-foot travel trailer wheels. I don't know much about how to tell tire quality but the fellow at the dealer immediately exclaimed, "Great brand!" And he doesn't carry Carlisle tires so it was reassuring to hear him say that. We are on virus lockdown as I write this so I haven't yet made any trips with the trailer. As such, I have no comment on their durability.

Junk, mounted them today. 1 of the tires had 88lb's of road force and looked oval on the balancer, took .75oz of weight so not a big deal there. The other tire had 44lbs of road force so much better but required 4ozs of weight! Insane for a 13 inch tire. I'll be going back to goodyear marathons if these ride as awful as they look on the machine.

Good tire for good price and manufactured within 6 months of purchase which I’m happy it’s a very new tire that hasn’t been sitting since being manufactured .There was a small mishap with the shipping of one tire but have now received both tires and I am satisfied with my purchase and dealings with seller.

Photo in ad showed them as Load Range E, only to find out after receiving them they were Load Range D. I just got these tires, Ask me in 5 years how good these tires are.

So far 3 days late meaning 3 days lost on our family staycation .. :(Disappointed
