I generally don't write reviews, but for this I have to. 10 years ago, prior to moving to Riviera Maya Mexico, we purchased this same set. After 10 years of heavy duty use, pro chef here, it was time for a new set. The old set was showing wear, copper was separating from the bases, two glass lids lost over the years due to me dropping them. So, time for anew set. I was delighted to find this set still existed, with some minor changes and upgrades. Reading some of the negative reviews made me search other sets, but I kept coming back to this one. Purchased, arrived last week, and super happy once again. The heat up time is 3X as fast as my old set, which makes sense, and the heat holds.They are lighter than the old set, but performance wise there is no difference. My only neg/drawback would be they got rid of the 1 quart (or maybe a little smaller) sauce pan. BUT, I still have my old one as it is holding up pretty well from the old set. As a CIA grad and chef/owner of many fine dining restaurants in the past, I give a huge thumbs up for this set. I can't imagine a household cook/chef who would not be happy with this set at its price point.

I really like the cookware. I have a 1, 2 and 3 qt. versions of these pans. They are very clean, great heat distribution, wear well. The lids make great drainage devices as well. The internal lines marking the amount of liquid in the pot are helpful as well.The only negative is that the handles definitely heat up. If this is an issue, you can get some silicone handle covers to help the problem.

I bought a set of Emeril cookware and found I wanted another 2-Qt. saucepan. This is a great all-use larger saucepan. Emeril cookware heats up evenly and holds heat well. The lid is set up so you can hold in steam or vent it, depending on what you are cooking. It goes right into the dishwasher (Hooray!) and needs no special care. I totally love it!

We followed the 'before first use' instructions and soaked the pans in warm water with baking soda. Use the small sauce pan for the first time to hear some clam sauce for a seafood pasta. Kept it on a correct sized hob and never went onto high heat. Sauce never burnt and prior to washing allowed the pan to cool down but after washing with warm water and soap and drying immediately the pan is discolored. See pictures.Disappointed that this happened after the FIRST use. Pans look great but if this is what will happen with them all, not so sure now.Michael.

My mom's had these pans for probably 10 years now, so when I finally needed a new set, I invested the money. Before you first wash/use them you soak them with water and baking soda to dissolve a clear coat....don't skip this step or do it wrong like some other reviewers seem to have. They distribute heat so well, cook very evenly, and are so great to cook with. The strainer lids are a fantastic feature that make life a LOT easier. If you aren't sure if they're worth the price, they ARE.

We bought to replace a non-stick pan that had worn down. This one works great. It's thoughtfully designed. The etching for quarts of water is useful, but a little faint at times. This product cleans up so well. It looks as good as the day we bought it, after many months of heavy use. This pot with strainer is in heavy rotation in our kitchen. I highly recommend this product.

I have a big set of Emeril Lagasse stainless steel pans and I ordered 2 more pans today with the pouring spout and built in strainer in the lid to keep food in the pan and let you drain the liquid out without taking off the top. His sets are heavy and cookgreat. I just wanted an extra set of the pans with the pouring spout and strainer in the lid. These are my favorite pans of the whole set. All the pans are great but this pan is my favorite. Let’s you get rid of the messing draining baskets. Love, love , love all his pots and pans!

I purchased these pots for the copper core bottoms for more even heat distribution on my gas stove-these pots definitely have accomplished this-just need to set the flame so that it does not go up the sides of the potsThere is a good variety of pot sizes The glass lids with the built in drains handy to drain whatever you are cooking-lids are very easy to clean and dry with no streaks. The handles are easy to grip and do not get hot. The only disappointment is the fact the pots do not clean up as well I would like-there is discolouration from the heat on the inside of the pots.Overall very pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend

This are worth the investment. I love how the cook and they are easy to clean. I will have these for years to come.

We have been using this set for only 4 months after our new kitchen reno. Of course, we ordered them back last summer so we can no longer return then. They have stained and discoloured, the copper tarnishes after a couple washes, they are NOT non stick, the handles heat up red hot to the touch. My biggest regret was donating all my old pots and pans to charity before using these. I would have kept the old ones!!

It was delivered on time... follow the directions for prepping the fry pan before use.... and don't use high heat.
