La Trinitaine, French Brittany Galettes au Beurre (Butter Cookies) in Mini Quimper Tin, Faience Couple, 4.23 OZ

Buttery taste in small thin crackers. Two with a cup of tea or coffee is just enough of heaven for an early morning or late evening sweet! The box was 5 inches x 3.75 inches. Comes in a small 16 cookie pack like one would see in a packaged Ritz cracker. Would recommend as a great Christmas gift for anyone that enjoys a crispy buttery cookie.

I loved the crunchiness and freshness of this cookie; it goes very well with a nice cup of tea. The real buttery flavor is excellent. The beautiful high-quality tin in which the cookies are presented combined with the high-quality of the cookies make for a great party favor or hostess gift.

I purchased the same cookies in the north of France some years ago, and was excited to see them here. This container is significantly smaller than the one I got on that occasion, and I noticed that says it’s a gift size. I haven’t tasted the cookies yet but it’s a cute little box 1/3 of the normal size.

Good but $15 for a tiny tin and a few small cookies. They should be ashamed. Did I pay for air fare from France?

This is absolutely tiny, maybe as big as a baseball. BUT I realized it's perfect for stocking stuffers, or for small gifts to my neighbors -- i'm too old and tired to bake Christmas cookies any more. ALSO the little box is adorable, Quimper-Like (but not Quimper). B/c I'm going to give it away, I didn't open to taste the cookies. I have to believe they are exquisite, considering the price, and made with hand-churned sweet butter.

Lovely French butter galettes from Brittany, just what you need when you have a hankering for French cookies. A tad expensive but given the costs and effort involved in getting them to the U.S. from France, well worth it.

I must have really been tired when I purchased this tin of cookies. The tin looked very nice. I assumed for over $17 the tin would be a fair size. Sadly(my bad) I did not check weight. The tin has not been opened yet but when it is if I find my "golden butter cookies" in pieces, I will really be upset.
