Not easy to assemble, powerful but loud
I bought this to replace an aged Flymo leaf vacuum/blower that died after many years service. This is a very different beast. The suction tube needs to be assembled by connecting two hard plastic pipes - despite putting all my weight on the pipes I could not achieve a perfect fit, but got it tight enough that it works. A result of the slightly longer tube is that the bag that collects the shredded leaves strains to its connection points. The hook on the shoulder strap is so narrow that it will not fit on the shoulder strap attachment point. At the end of assembly I was very annoyed with the product and felt that it had been designed to be easily manufactured rather than easily assembled.When I used the vacuum I was surprised at how loud it was - this seems to be a function of its power and it made light work of piles of leaves that my previous Flymo struggled with. The shredder worked very well and when I had vacuumed up a moderate amount of leaves the collection bag still had plenty of capacity.I haven't used it as a leaf blower but you have to remove the vacuum pipe (one screw then unscrew the pipe), then install a filter, detach the leaf bag and attach the blowing nozzle. Not as easy as flicking a switch on the old design.I think it will do a good job but the lack of a usable shoulder strap may restrict how long I can use it for.

Good vacuum with poor quality collection bag .. so not good
Good suction power but a bit fiddly to change to blower function as alternative parts are required to be fitted .. previous model.much easier. However the suction bag failed in less than 30 minutes use .. refer to the pictures to see the holes etc from collecting just leaves in garden. Flymo couldn't supply a replacement bag so had to return the complete machine. Supplier very helpful.. feel sorry for them .. they get all the hassle because of Flymos poor quality

Very poor bag quality
Only used this a couple times to hoover up leafs and the bag has split 3 times.Not a very good quality of material considering what it is meant for.
