A little disappointed - Updated - My bad
I feel like the demonstration pictures are a little misleading. Without mounting this thing to something, it is very wobbly. And clamping is very misrepresented, in my opinion. I mean it struggled holding a little piece of mdf. Maybe mdf is just too slippery. It definitely held a piece of 2x4 better. I guess I just thought this thing would be more flexible and useful. It actually has limited use cases. It's clamping area will definitely hold a door like they show, but it won't hold anything less than 3/4" without improvisation. It was probably mentioned in the description so shame on me if it was. Seems like, to make this thing really useful, you need two of them. I am not thinking it is priced incorrectly, I mean it is sturdy and clearly built with quality, but the clamping mechanism is just limited and only has 3 litlle pads. And the pads are hard plastic and not that grippy nor soft - could definitely see how it might mar your wood. Anyway, this thing has limited uses, but I am still going to keep it as with little tweaks, I can see still finding a way to making it more helpful. I am going to save up for the jawhorse. That looks to be way more useful and folds up to be just about as small as the jaw stand. I will do that instead of getting a second jaw stand. I'm sure others will find a better way to use this, or maybe have something to bolt it to. I just thought it would be more versatile for the tiny projects I'm working on and it just didn't meet muster for me.Update:The problem with my perceived value was my point of view. While I bought this with a pre-conceived notion of how I might use it in woodworking and not thinking of real use cases this was intended for, I now see this little stand has many uses. May require a little creativity, I've already thought of things where this stand will be incredibly useful to me in my small shop!

Flawless Design
I am not sure if there is a more simple and perfectly designed tool like this on the market today. I use this to assist me with larger pieces on my table saw, drill press, miter saw, router table, and I have even worked on my daughter bicycle with this tool. Works perfectly right out of the box and super easy to use. It's not super heavy but still heavy enough to not wiggle around while I'm using it. Everything is built tough and to last. There is even a slightly recessed bubble level center on the top. It is worth every penny and even a better deal if you can catch it on sale.

Solidly built, wonderfully designed and very adjustable to accommodate so many projects. Why did I wait so long to get this!?
Wow, why didn't I own this years ago!I do a lot of remodeling here at home and just finished an upstairs bathroom from the ceiling down to a new floor and everywhere in-between.I had some large shelving to handle in my garage storage area and finally decided to get this Rockwell XP.Amazing non-slip grp for even very heavy large sheets of plywood. I put in thin sheets of luan on either side of the jaw to avoid and damage to the new shelving surface. (but, I have found that once you learn how to adjust the tension just right, this unit will grip strong without damaging your work piece. The Rockwell XP is very sturdy and solid and maintains a very stable and secure stance once set up. I used it pn our uneven paved driveway and found the legs will accommodate a little out-of-level footing and you can rotate the unit and typically find a position it will sit flat and not wobble at all.I am kicking myself for not having this when I put in a new kitchen and wall cabinets....It would have made the job so much easier. With its many adjustable positions for height and angle of the top clamp assembly, it is going to be so well suited for future jobs here!I plan to order another one as well. It has the ability to be used for a raised platform and would work well for painting above reachable heights.Given the wide stance of its legs and its rating for weight, there's probably many other uses I will come up with in time as I use ot more.5 Stars, extremely satisfied with this Rockwell!

Great mobility and ease of use , drawback: needs to have greater lowering capacity.
I have been working with this tool for about 2 years now , mostly for residential door replacement and repairs. I'm 5'8'' in height , setting this tool up to custom plane doors to existing door casings is relatively easy with adjustable angle/pivot .Where I run into difficulty is setting the clamp jaws on the hinge side typically has to be between upper and middle hinge, putting tilt/angle height too high to run the portable planer in one pass without having to use some type of step ladder (5gal)bucket. Overall its a great tool , Just wish Rockwell would make a similar unit that was specifically designed for woodworking/ mobile / door repair / planing that had increased lowering point.

Like having an extra person
VERY sturdy, easy setup and breakdown, very quality tool that seems will last a very very long time with continuous usage, as should be expected from a construction tool. I spend a lot of money on quality brand tools since they are the lifeline of my livelihood. I work in construction and need tools that can take a beating and hold up to the strenuous jobs they are used for. This Jaw horse stand does exaclty that, with many versatile uses, and definitely makes my one man jobs much easier. I actually bought 2 and use them in replace of standard saw horses. Fully adjustable, so alot of time i use only 1, but nice having 2 when applicable. I use them for various means like, extra support when cutting large lumber or moulding on my table and miter saw. Saw horses as mentioned. Extra support to hold lumber in place when i need another hand to hold one end, while I secure the opposing end. Being able to fully adjust height and angles of my support boards makes doing projects with one person so much easier.

Love These
I love these stands and so does my back. It's really nice to have a very stable work stand that is highly adjustable to a comfortable height for working and for accommodating different materials. They fold and store surprisingly well. I refuse to go back to sawhorses. These are just so versatile.
