Worked great on a Frigidaire AEQ6000ES2
Dryer started squeaking a few months ago when being used. It was light at first, then got worse as time went on. Did some searching and found it could have been the drum bearing or idler pulley. I found this kit had both as well as a number of other items that I figured if I'm going to take it apart I might as well replace everything in the kit.My particular dryer model (AEQ6000ES2) was pretty easy to take apart using some online videos. I highly recommend, if you can, unplugging the dryer from the wall and vent and dragging it into another room with space to work on it. I used some carpet sliders to get out of my laundry room and into the living room for a bit. Top panel comes off, rear vent/access panel comes off, electrical panel comes off (detach the wires from the control board), unscrew and remove the entire front panel and door as a SINGLE unit. Bam. Access to everything. The paper directions that came in the kit are pretty useless. Search for and use online videos instead. A few tips:•Drum bearing - The new bearing and its plate aren't tapped for screws, making them a royal PITA to do that with a manual Philips screw driver from inside the drum. Get a cordless drill, a Philips bit, and use the old screws you removed from the old bearing and run them through each hole of the new bearing OUTSIDE of the drum, like on a work bench or something. Remove the old screws, discard them, and then install the bearing using the new screws. 10x easier.•I've seen a lot of people mention the top and bottom felt seals/strips were too short. Because this "kit" may cover many models of dryers I cannot say they will or won't work for you. When I initially held up the new ones around the front cover opening the white, long one was too short as well....until I removed the old one and realized the new one is perfectly fine. I think a lot of people might be placing the new felt one on top of the old one FIRST to see if it's the proper size like I did. You're expecting a piece of pre-cut felt to match up to a partial circumference that's now about a 1/4" thicker along the distance because the old felt is likely still in place. Of course it's going to look like it won't fit! If anything, I had to CUT excess off when I glued the new ones into place.•Check to see if you're dryer exhaust gasket needs to be replaced while you're in there. It is NOT included in the kit, but they can dry out, crack, and just fall to the bottom of the dryer over time. Search for part 131633300 here on Amazon if you need it.Very happy overall. Dryer is back to its nearly silent self again.

No More Squeaks! What a Money Saver!
What a Money Saver!I had been dealing with dryer squeaking for a few months, thinking that it would just go away! Many people told me that I would have to replace my dryer. I knew there had to be a cheaper way to fix it. I attempted to lubricate the ball and socket in the back, but it didn’t fix it. At that time, while I had my dryer apart, I noticed the belt was a little cracked, and that I needed to clean the rear heating element. I am SO GLAD I got an opportunity to clean that. I also cleaned out the vent really good and the internal compartment of the dryer.I decided to order this since it was way cheaper than replacing the dryer! I also figured it was a good thing to replace all the pieces that were wearing out. (My dryer is 13 years old.)Everything was packaged great and nothing was missing. If you are not mechanically inclined, I would suggest finding someone to help you who is. I would also consider this a two person job. You might consider looking online to see if there are videos that can help you. This should take about an hour if you have a helper, and are mechanically inclined. I also cleaned the dryer enclosure the first time I had it apart. The instructions that came with it were photocopies so they were a little hard to read. They did give a list of all the necessary tools and such. Here are a few helpful hints that I learned.:Use this time to clean out the enclosure. Be gentle with the heating element, but make sure to get all of the charred fibers.Don’t lose the little ball that goes in the back of the dryer! That bugger will roll to somewhere low and hide from you!Make sure you scrape the front felt off very good. The directions say that every last piece of adhesive should be removed, but it was hard to do without using harsh chemicals. I scraped as best I could, washed it well, let it dry, then used the adhesive in sections, laying the felt over it.The new belt will be more snug than the old one. Don’t pinch your fingers in the pulleys!Pull the drum out the front of the dryer. (As seen in the picture.)Make sure someone is there to help you align the drum when reattaching it. Your arms will get sore fast while trying to hold it up with one hand and trying to dial the phone to call your partner to come and help you!

Fits Frigidaire Affinity AGQ7000AG0
This "bundle" saves money. This WILL work with Frigidaire Affinity AGQ7000AG0 (nat gas)FYI the bag contents has 3 bagged parts with part numbers on their bags and 2 loose parts/no part numbers.Bagged parts are...rear bearing kit #5303281153felt seal lower with glue #5303937183 (the white felt)felt seal upper with glue #5303937182 also known as #134440200 (the black one, without plastic tabs)Loose parts in the bag are....drive belt #134503600idler pulley #131863007word of wisdom....make sure you use the 3 old screws to tap threads into the bearing plate BEFORE you mount it!. I ended up having to use vice grips to turn the screws, screw driver was too slippery in my hand (as shown on YouTube videos) and I did not want to use an electric drill driver to prevent damage. twist them/tap them with a vice grip. Also you will never remove the old glue, just get the loose stuff off and tufts of old felt off the best you can.the glue is nasty and can run....make Z patterns with the glue don't run a long bead (like you do with toothpaste)give yourself extra time,I had to shop vac the inside of the cabinet and the drum etc. for a clean reassembly. and I wanted to give the glue as much time to dry as I could.I found a dime and a penny in the cabinet ....So I not only saved money DIY but I'm "up" 11 cents! :-)

Get the right kit...
This is a great kit for the price; however, please be careful that you get the right one... the bearing kit was fine, but because of my lack of attention, the felt seals were the wrong ones (I had to order them separate, which ended up being expensive). Just pay attention and you’ll be fine.
