YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR
Despite living in Las Vegas I bought this stool from England because 6 months ago Frosta's were not being imported into the USA. But as my IKEA Alvaar Alto chair didn't look happy without its matching table I willingly paid a high price to import one. And was naturally chagrined when IKEA changed its mind and not only imported Frosas but sold them for the incredibly low price of $15.The good news (for England) is the version sold over there has an infinitely better finish. And is a perfect match for the Aalto chair with a lacquer finish making it gleam like real wood (not laminated) whereas the one I bought in Las Vegas is virtually raw white laminated wood with no shine and no tactile qualities. The explanation for this drop in quality is fairly obvious. The British table was made in Lithuania and the USA one was made in China! QED

Ikea hat sich gemausert ;-)
Ich habe diesen Hocker als "Ersatzstuhl" für die Küche gekauft.Und bin wirklich sehr angetan davon!Zusammenbau: Kinderleicht! Für jedes Bein 2 mitgelieferte Schrauben eindrehen - fertig!Das Holz ist wie abgebildet, hell, schlicht, hat leichte Maserungen.Der Hocker ist STABIL!!!, man kann sich draufsetzen, ohne einen Zusammenbruch befürchten zu müssen.Nichts wackelt.Das Holz ist behandelt, also lackiert.Zur Not kann man diesen Hocker auch mal im Wohnzimmer benutzen, denn er sieht in seiner Schlichtheit wirklich sehr gut aus.An IKEA erst einmal ein großes Lob, denn das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist absolut stimmig!Von mir daher eine klare Kaufempfehlung!
