FEL-PRO VS 50620 R Engine Valve Cover Gasket Set for Subaru Impreza

Watched a YT BriansMobile1 video describing how to install these Fel Pro gaskets on a Subaru. Got them along with the  Subaru "Half Moon" plugs  and resolved a valve cover leak that I had by myself.

Fel-pro Really makes quality stuff... now that I've done this job I would pick fel-pro over even OEM.Didnt need bolt Gaskets as Turbo Ej's have external bolts to the valve cover. Use Tri-bond.

I bought these in January 2013 to replace on my 2005 STi. I got the passenger side cover off and went to replace the gasket when I discovered that my box contained 2 driver's side gaskets instead of one of each. It would have been a dire situation had I not had a second vehicle to drive to the dealer to get the correct gaskets for quite a bit more money. Amazon gave me a refund so all was well, just added several days to my project. You will need grey permatex with these.When you get them, open them up and make sure each gaskets is different.

This set does NOT include the plastic half moons / valve ends. Make sure you get those as well or you will have to take this apart again just to fix a small leak.

Fel-Pro has been a brand that the car gods have blessed with reliability and perfection out of the box. Have fun installing these into your 2.5 Forester or STI. I had to unbolt the engine from the bottom and jack it up on each side to reach everything. But hey, at least the AC and ALT belts are a breeze compared to a Honda or Toyota.

Didn't see these were for a DOHC my car needed SOHC

Replacing this sealed my oil leak from my valve covers. It was a pain to do with the engine in the car. Hopefully these will last another 100,000 miles

Ill update my review after 6months to a year. Gaskets fit my 2010 WRX HATCH thats all i can say at this point.
