It's Darn Near the Perfect Bag, with a couple of minor exceptions.
I'm Retired from a career where having a Bail Out or Grab and Go type bag was a daily necessity. I've had numerous Bail Out and EDC Shoulder type bags. I own TWO of these T3 Bolt Bags. These are probably the best bags I've had for my use. Not too big, not too small. Not 20 different zipper and mesh pouches for things to get lost and forgotten about. It's not too complicated. It just does what it's supposed to do.I have one that is a Bail Out or Minute Man type bag with my AR Mags, spare Pistol Mags, an IFAK, spare flashlight, Gloves, etc. I have another set up as an EDC type Bag for when I need a bag to grab and go and hold the stuff I always carry, even when wearing athletic shorts and t-shirt. Wallet, Keys, Phone, suitable pistol with a few spare mags, an IFAK with a Bleed Kit, CAT Tourniquet and Chest Seals, and a small Boo-Boo Kit with smaller First Aid items. A Flashlight, folding knife, notepad and pen, wet wipes, etc.The CCW pocket is velcro loop lined and comes with an adjustable Velcro Holster and a Velcro double Mag carrier with two elastic loops. It's perfect for a Glock 19 or 30S and two spare mags. The velcro closure on the CCW pocket, will close and hide your CCW, when you open the top flap and zippered closer of the main compartment. Even from prying eyes in public. Like I said, It's darn near perfect.OK, all that being said, I would like to see T3 make a couple of refinements. One, the colors..... Yes, it was intended as a Bolt Bag for Military Operators, so Camo and OD Green are acceptable. But I would like to see something a little more "Gray Man" for use in public, like a Slate Gray or Navy Blue perhaps. Next, the Mag Pouches are on the outer side of the bag away from your body as well as the Velcro lined CCW Pouch, which is right behind the mag pouches inside. This tends to make the bag fall over or roll away from you when you sit it on the floor. Maybe moving the CCW pouch to the inside nearest the body with the holster and mag loops would balance that out a little more. Having the interior slot pouch and the main compartment in the center would balance the load.Last but not least, the Shoulder strap is 1.5" and is narrower and thinner than most 5.11 or Maxpedition shoulder straps. This makes it a little less comfortable and tends to dig in or cut a little bit when carrying any load such a loaded AR mags and a pistol. It is improved when I found a 1.5" Maxpedition Shoulder Pad and put it on the strap, but it still doesn't seem as comfortable or sturdy. A little wider and thicker strap would make a big difference. All this being said, it's all quality and still the best Shoulder / Bail Out / EDC bag I've used so far. It doesn't scream "Gun" or "Rambo" as the usual Fat Boys, Versipacks and Tactical Bags that most would carry. It looks closer to a Camera Bag or satchel that the average Joe would carry. Especially if they made it in Non-Military type colors. My Wife, who is a retired Paramedic and a CCW Permit Holder also wants one, but not in Camo or OD Green.
