Beautiful, very easy to play, sounds great. amazing price
I bought this to learn to play because nylon strings are easier for beginners. It is a beautiful guitar and when I got it I was pleased at how it looked, felt and how it sounded when I began to try. I can't really say more than that because my husband, a professional musician, has been playing it so much I can't get my hands on it again. I can say it sounds awesome when he's playing it. I may have to buy myself a really bad guitar to be able to practice. Meanwhile, this one is great. He says the low action is nice, it is comfortable and very easy to play so he practices with it all the time. The tuning keys work perfectly, the strings are great. The tuner does work but the battery was dead, not a deal breaker for us.

Great value, good choice for kids (3/4 size)
Got this for my 8-year old. 3/4 size and the neck size is appropriate. Satin finish is nicely done. Well-built instrument at this price. Don't expect room filling sound. Sound is clean and adequate for a beginner. More of a snappy flamenco sound with the low action and the spruce top. A couple of suggestions:- For those complaining about fret buzz: either adjust the truss rod or file the high fret down a bit. Or just go to a luthier and have it fixed for a few bucks instead of sending it back. Even more expensive guitars don't come out of the box perfectly set up.-For those complaining about losing the tuning: the strings are not put on right when guitar comes from the factory; the loose end of the string on the tuning peg should be constrained by the overlap of the windings. Loosen the string and rewind on the tuning peg appropriately - look up videos for reference if needed.

Wrong Size + I Must Drive the Wrong Item Back to UPS! ...TWICE!
Okay, I review things, whether I am happy or unhappy with the thing. This review, like all my reviews, will tend to be the first one anyone ever sees when searching in a search engine. Comes with my job. You can't unlearn what you know. It leaks into whatever you do.Beautiful guitar, no flaws to speak of. Stunning in every detail, aside from a little smudge here and there on the nut and action pieces (this should have been a cinch to clean off) and a little spec of shiny dried liquid, possibly a stray spec of glue, but again, it would have come off easily with a little bit of careful work and a damp wash-cloth.THE PROBLEM? It's the wrong size (3/4). I ordered a full size guitar. So I will return it like all the others who get a wrong size. One more issue...I HAVE TO DRIVE 20 minutes total TO RETURN THIS WRONGED SIZE GUITAR. Now this company owes ME money AND a correct sized mint condition guitar. I will update this review as soon as I receive the new guitar. But seriously guys...refund 15% if you need UPS to have it dropped off by the customer! UPS just drops it off with my small town rinky-dink courier anyway...All that said, I look forward to the chance to somehow give this top-rising review a full 5 stars. I want to believe! (he said, sweating after all that repacking, label printing, label cutting and label-pasting...PANT-PANT...)*** UPDATE 8/2018 ***Okay, I gave the shipper another chance (!) after getting the wrong size last time (beautiful guitar! but child-size). Cordoba is a good brand and Amazon is a good online store.Well...Guess what happened? They sent a previously damaged 3/4 (wrong) size guitar in its place. I still want the full size (mint condition) guitar! But at this point...I doubt I will end up getting it or leaving a positive review here. Since this is fulfilled by Amazon, apparently, then it seems Amazon is to blame, or company policies, or both. Either way: I wanted the guitar. I gave them a second chance. And now I don't get the guitar... :(UPDATE 8/10/2018Have tried numerous points of contact. It's impossible to contact Cordoba. No Amazon Vendor page. No phone numbers. Nothing...So much for Cordoba trying to meet the customer need, I guess.

Beautiful instrument and should be for many years to come
I'm a total beginner but I hang out with some real musicians on a regular basis. I wanted a guitar that would be easy to learn but would still have a nice sound. After doing a LOT of research I found that Cordoba is a very respected guitar maker especially for Latin music which is what I'll be playing primarily. I can only play a few chords, but I had some experts play it and they pronounced it a great instrument to learn on. It sounded great too, so I know it works ; )I chose the 3/4 size because I'm an adult with small hands. I had tried to learn guitar before and found the fingering really uncomfortable and didn't stick with it. This one is comfortable and will still be useful as a travel guitar if I ever move up to a full size.We did have one string break right away which surprised me but they had a spare so it wasn't a problem. One thing I learned is that you'll be tuning it a lot at first until the strings stretch. You have to break it in a bit.Update: The tuning pegs themselves can be tightened which helps. I tightened them once and have had an easier time tuning ever since. Now I can tune pretty quickly. I did upgrade to a more cushioned bag with more pockets. Other than that I'm still very happy with it.
