Bell Rock Growers cat grass
I purchased this product for my 11 year old cat and I'm very pleased with it. The plants, when delivered, were fresh and green and came with instructions for keeping them healthy. While my cat won't nibble on the grass, I snip the leaves and sprinkle them on her food and she eats them all. I believe it's helped her digestion--she often used to try to nibble on my house plants but has stopped doing that. I'll buy products from this vendor again.

The cat loves it...
I've gone through several packets of these and the cat really loves them. I haven't seen any digestive reaction so far. Each pot is pretty light, and you can store the others in the fridge, before setting them out for nibbling. The only real quibble I have is that the pots are very light, and my cat is more of a puller than a nibbler in eating style, so she knocks the pots over a lot.But...nothing beats seeing the excitement she shows when I pull out a new one and she over to sniff and rub and chew almost straight away. They're a hit in our house!

Doesn't last
Beautiful when arrived. I thought it might be nice not to have to grow from seeds. I followed instructions in package but it's now a month and it's pretty much dead. It's so root bound and no soil. I have tried planting them in a small pot but I am very doubtful. What a waste of 33 DOLLARS. It's not worth the cost. Save your money.

Does not last more than 2 weeks- mold!
This is a good product and our cats loved it. The only issue I had was that it did not last more than 2 weeks. We kept it in the “stay fresh” bag in the fridge and made sure they stayed moist. Did not over water as the bag really keeps the moisture in. By 1.5 weeks one pot had white mold all over the roots and then the others did by 2 weeks so we had to throw out. Maybe the bag kept to much moisture in? Better off planting own and growing it in dirt.

Awesome cat grass!
My cats LOVE this stuff! We’ve been buying almost a year. And the 3 pack keeps about a month each time.We rotate the 3 plants between the sunny window with a small amount of water, on the floor for kitties, and in the provided bag (with a little water) in the fridge. We’ve only had one issue with the plants arriving dead due to late shipping which the company replaced with no cost.I wish they offered this on Subscribe and Save!

Roots rapidly grew white/grey fuzz throughout - MOLD?
First, I'd like to submit a compliment: I sincerely applaud the packaging and shipping craftsmanship and logo design for this product.I am impressed and excited, with splash of reluctance after I received this order from the concept of mailing pre-grown plant. The designer/designers who developed the logo and the packaging created a visually appealing and intriguing product for its designated audience. The packaging design is very chic, simple an ‘in’ with the current year cat craze and to the audience who enjoys the kitsch and cutesy designs.HOWEVER - I found some disappointing aspects of this product; after using it for a period of time with cats I am now been able to properly assess, review and evaluate Gandalf and Shisha's responses to the delicious curious new green leafy thing near to Gandalf and Shisha's, the spoiled cats, food and next to Gandalf's favorite couch in the Cat Corner. My evaluation reveled a considerable number of negatives aspects of the product. To begin, it’s lacking the physical feeling of durability from being formed from what appears as flimsy thin cardboard lacking a tangible firmness. The packaging is a detractor from the product as a whole; basic needs are not met for a geometric cardboard container. The product lacks the ability to remain seated on a flat plain, floor or table, without toppling. Unfortunately, for the consumer (specifically me) the most likely place for the Cat Grass to be assigned a designated location frequented regularly by the Feline Fur Babies; the floor is without a doubt one of the main areas the Babies spend the majority of the time.I resulted in having to remove the Cat Grasses from its original packaging container – the all-so-cute & chic cat-logoed-flimsy-cardboard container to two small ceramic planters with saucers and draining holes; the goal being to decrease the rate they topple over and spilling either water, dirt or loose pieces of Cat Grass all over the floor; creating messes that SHOULD have been avoided by more product testing and reevaluating the material and use of. Surprisingly, with all but one instance of intentional knocking over and spilling the contains all over the carpet occurring WITHOUT any feline interference. After realizing the overwhelming evidence of poor packaging my high hopes for this product began to lessen at an exorbitant rate; I was no longer surprised or optimistic about my now-completely and prodigally and extremely frivolous purchases charged to the 'Spoiled the Cat like they Are Children Fund'.I was sadly amused and shocked when I discovered that after less than a full work week I checked the moisture levels of the roots of the Cat Grass Plants to evaluate the amount of water need. Nerveless, the root systems of BOTH of the Cat Grass plants had grown the soft peach fuzz-like grey/white mold visible around the outside, inside the entire root structure. Additionally, the mold continued to spreading the pot the Cat Grass was transferred to.Unfortunately, despite my diligence in maintaining the water intake as close to directed as possible. I have no idea how to further the lifespan of this specific plant. Does anyone have any tested and tried solutions to maintaining plants your loved pets have access to? Could humidity effect the mold growth? This lovely Florida humidity might have more of an impact than I realized. However, Hakuna Matata - I consider this an Amazon learning experience and now the knowledge that the sellers quality is sub-par despite the lure of quantity, Prime options and a pretty cheap price.I’m becoming more and more aware of the negative aspects of using Amazon Prime for purchasing similar items, such as any living organism, plant or otherwise. You really do get what you are pay for when purchasing such products, and sometimes you don’t know till you purchase it and then regret it.One star for fantastic idea, the graphic design and concept behind the product. The other star is from my cats; they really did enjoy the Cat Grass while they had to be trashed. I had placed one by their food bowl and the second over in the 'Cat Corner' of our apartment; the designated cat corner comes complete with toy box, feathers, balls and strings on a stick, treats and soft brushes and a perfectly positioned cat tree for sunbathing AND their grass.*Also, I was under the impression that the shipment I received was only supposed to contain 2 of the containers of the pre-grown and fresh Cat Grass when I placed my purchase, but as I'm rereading all the description information it appears I only received two of the three planters I ordered.
