Blue BuffaloTastefuls Natural Pate Wet Cat Food, Chicken Entrée 3-oz cans (Pack of 24)

Cat was allergic to something in this food. He has been eating healthy gourmet chicken pate for the last year which was helping keep his IBD under control. This new food is supposed to replace healthy gourmet. Now he is going to have to suffer through food trials again while I look for a new brand. Why did you "fix" something that wasn't broken?

2/3 won’t touch this “newer” version 😔They wait for it, as soon as I put it in front of them they walk away, never had this issue with the Indoor cat recipe.

This product replaced the turkey and chicken Healthy Gourmet pate. It is not a pate. The consistency is loose and soupy. When you open the can the smell is overwhelming, almost chemical in nature. This was advertised as a replacement and recommended on the website. It doesn’t even deserve one star.

My cat is not very excited about this new product. I am not pleased with the very strong odor of the food. It makes the entire room smell unpleasant. Hopefully I will still be able to buy Healthy Gourmet.

My cat likes it, but I don't know why it's $10 more than the old version per case of 24.

Healthy Gourmet Turkey and Chicken (the darker, smoother one) was Henry's favorite dish. Without notice, the company changed the recipe, and with it the color, the texture, and the smell (which wasn't all that great in the first place). Rather than return the cans to Amazon, I opened them and emptied the contents into the disposal and recycled the cans. I was concerned that the food would make some other cat strangely lethargic like it did Henry – or worse.You will note the absence of the True Blue Promise on the Tastefuls can:ALWAYS starts with Protein-Rich TurkeyNO Chicken/Poultry By Product MealNO Corn, Wheat or SoyNO Artificial Flavors or PreservativesHowever, the new label does read "enhanced with vitamins, minerals AND OTHER NUTRIENTS." The caps are mine to indicate the absence of that phrase on the Healthy Gourmet cans. So which of the previous non-ingredients have been added, I wonder.Greatly diminished quality at a higher price. Smart move, Blue Buffalo.

There's no way they tested this product extensively. It has an extremely offensive odor that permeates the entire area, stays with the animal and it seems to have some type of a dye or substance in it that stains the animals fur. The consistency is much thinner and sticks to the spoon much more than the prior version, necessitating a second spoon to get the excess back into the can. I noticed significantly more food being consumed, which to me implies they added some type of ingredient similar to MSG that makes the product more desirable. More is consumed, which means more money spent. This is only my observation and opinion of course. Not only did they make an inferior product compared to the last version, but they also increased the price. I don't know why they changed the label or the ingredients, but they took out some ingredients that seemed very beneficial and added some others that seem less so. I'm not going to be purchasing any more products from this company. They've lost my business after much money spent.

Our subscription for the original Blue Buffalo Chicken Patte must have been discontinued and replaced with this AWFUL cat food. We were notified that our subscription could not be fulfilled until further notice and before we knew it this replacement was sent to us. IT'S NOT EVEN CLOSE TO BEING THE SAME. This food smells AWFUL, the consistency is incredibly watery. We're really disappointed that we didn't receive a more substantial heads up about this order - we would not have continued our subscription until knowing our cats would eat this. Instead we received our full order of 6 cases - a handful of them arriving smashed. Our cats are not happy. We will never buy this again.
