Happy with, as expected

Easy to put together and sturdy enough to put many items on.
I like that it came with instructions you could follow along on your phone. It was easy to put together and holds the weight of everything I've put on it. Would recommend.

Time Will Tell
I have now bought two of these to expand my library area. Both arrived within four days of placing the corresponding orders. The first arrived in a slightly damaged box, but the pressboard shelving material inside was in very good condition except for one two inch scratch on one of the movable shelves. I was so impressed with the initial condition of the first bookshelf after assembly that I ordered a second. The second arrived in a nearly perfect box, but the materials inside showed considerably more wear than the first bookshelf had shown. The front corner of the central permanent shelf was cracked and slightly bent; and some of the other side and movable shelf pieces had areas that looked as if friction had worn the surfaces in places. I considered a return/exchange, but upon conducting a preassembly layout of the pieces I determined the worst of the rough areas would not show or, hopefully, affect the overall function after assembly. While not as happy with the second one, it is now in place and looks "OK".Initial impression is that they are reasonably sturdy light to medium-load bookshelves. One feature that is a concern is that the top and bottom sections are connected by four Cam Fastening System bolts only. Only time will tell if these will be sturdy and dependable bookshelves, but one week in we're doing fine. I'll update if that changes.

Great!
They’re great! The assembly was pretty easy, there are youtube tutorials that make things go a lot smoother that i would recommend! The only change i would suggest with assembly- they have you insert the cam locks before you pop the screws in. I’d recommend sliding the screws into the hole where the lock goes, then inserting the locks. if that doesn’t make sense, look up a tutorial on how to insert cam locks on youtube.otherwise they’ve been great so far! pretty sturdy, definitely good quality for the price. mine are sandwiched between the wall and the desk so it doesn’t move at all, even though it’s not anchored. and the shelves are holding up wonderfully

Might want 2 people to assemble
It’s great very sturdy, I was able to put it together myself after some thought out ways of holding the wood. I suggest having another person there to help hold up pieces. As for the back panel. Follow the directions!!! I understand the process so went on my own for this part and half way through realized what I had done (out the paneling to far in one corner and was lead to a decision hammering things in improperly).Overall including my OWN mishap. Worth the buy

Fragile
I read the reviews and thought I could build it better. It's just okay, the press board is extremely fragile and unforgiving if you mess up. The small nails for the back will bust up the shelves and walls if you hit too hard. During building have a friend hold it so they don't split and crumble. This will not stand freely until completely built, it will split and fall apart under its own weight if you're building it alone. Mine also did not come with directions so I just guessed on it but it's built and holds my things well. This is kid friendly, if a kid shakes it or bumps it, it will collapse on them. Do not buy this for small children's room.

Good bookcase for the price.
I bought this bookcase for my Grandson's room.I assembled it by myself in about an hour and 15 minutes. It was fairly easy to assemble. All holes lined up and directions were easy to follow. It is very sturdy and is stable using the strap to attach to the wall. The shipping was fast and price was fair. There were a couple of chips on the side but nothing major. This product is made from pressed wood but is very nice for the price.Would buy again.

Waste of Money
I probably should have known that the lower price would mean poor quality, and it certainly did in this case. The quality of the boards is so poor that they chipped and crumbled when screwing screws into holes that were just a touch too small. The back board of the book case is a flimsy piece of cardboard that literally ripped when nailed in.Spend the extra $30 for something made of stronger stuff and is easier to assemble (you need a hammer, a regular and small Phillips head and a flat head).
