Apalus Straightening Hair Brush, Ceramic Hair Straightener Brush, Heated Hair Brush

It's important to note that I have African American natural and coarse hair. The new version of the Apalus straightening brush is an improvement from the previous product. The straightener comes with two section clips, a velvet bag and a heat resistant glove.I purchased the previous version of the straightening brush a while ago and I had a few problems with it. The plug for the brush fit loosely in the socket and would continuously fall out of the socket (it also had a short cord), causing the brush to turn off. The brush bristles were also easily bent/damaged by natural, coarse hair like mine. I will also mention that many other users had issues with their fingers resting on the on/off buttons so they were accidentally turning the straighteners off.This time, I received a complimentary new straightening brush from Apalus because I was not completely satisfied with my last purchase. Since receiving the product, I have used it a few times to test the straightening ability and check for improvements. My hair is much straighter this time around, having the strengthening power of a straightening comb, minus the hair tearing. While I have to use the highest temperature setting, it takes less time to straighten my hair, compared to a flat iron, and therefore, there is less heat applied to your hair. The loose plug problem has been solved, the bristles are more secure, and a button lock has been implemented to solved the problem of the undesired accidentally hitting the off button. Overall, I am impressed, I have told my family and friends about it and now they all want to use my brush. Looks like I'll be getting more of these for Christmas gifts this year.I have added pictures in this review to show the before and after results from the straightening brush.

My hair is frizzy, wavy hair. I wanted a straightener which wouldn't make my hair look poker straight, preferred a naturally straight hair look. I was able to achieve this with this. The straightener got heated up pretty quick, by the time I applied a a serum or thermal protect-ant on my hair, the straightener was all heated up and ready. The temp adjustment and digital display are something that I personally like. It takes 4-5 quick strokes for one part of the hair to get evenly straightened. It would take lesser strokes if I took it slowly. this is my second Apalus hair straightener and I like it

This brush is great! I cried my hair under my hair dryer, but it wasn't completely dry. So I used my straightening brush and it dried the small section that was still damp and straightened it out in a few minutes! So I didn't have to use my blow dryer and sweat up my whole head!

I don't normally review things but I felt like I had to review the straightening brush because it is absolutely amazing! My hair is so straight and it is also so soft. Also it only took like 5 minutes to actually get my hair straight and I have very very thick hair. I would highly recommend this straightening brush!!

Died on me after a few months of using. Did the job well while it lasted but it was a bummer to see it break so fast

I love it. It straightened my hair, which is thick and course, better than a flat iron. I don't usually mess with my hair much but this brush is very easy to use and very worth it!

Bought for my daughter. She has wavy hair, not frizzy. She used it but didn't like it. Did not straighten her hair as well as a flat iron. I then started using it. My hair is very straight but it helped to make it look smoother. I just threw it out because working, It wouldn't turn on anymore. I didn't have it for too long.

I love the brush, I have long wavy hair and this makes it manageable. I would have given it 5 starts but I have a very hard time reading the led screen that tells you the temperature. It's very very hard to see. So I'm not sure if something is wrong with mine or not... but it's a good tool if you have wavy hair that is tough to deal with in the mornings.

Tenía muchas dudas sobre si comprarlo o no porque la marca me era desconocida pero fue una buena sorpresa que si funciona! No lo deja lacio baba, para eso son las planchas... yo quería solo quitar los chinos para poder hacerme ondas con una tenaza. Tengo cabello grueso y rizado y en 15 minutos termine de alaciar el lado izquierdo, con unas 3 pasadas en cada mechón ya queda, es importante seguir las instrucciones y no tomar mechones tan grandes de cabello, se debe usar con el cabello seco, o sea que esté cepillo no es para secar el cabello. La caja incluye el peine, 2 pinzas, un guante y bolsa para guardar el cepillo. Además tiene 2 años de garantía con el fabricante

Estoy encantada con el cepillo!, si es lo que esperaba... me informé antes de comprarlo y lo comparé con otros, pero este tiene buen precio y calidad. Me queda muy bien el cabello aún y cuando lo tengo algo maltratado, pero el instructivo dice que temperatura ajustarle de acuerdo al tipo de cabello que tenemos.Hasta incluyeron el guante para no quemarse la mano.

If not, here you go!I really enjoy this brush, its perfect for what I need which is a quick way to try and tame my wild and at times very frizzy hair. I also appreciate how hands on the people from Apalus are, I've received a few emails from them, making sure their product is preforming as it should and also offering tips for usage. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase.

Después de usarlo un mes puedo compartir mi opinión. Es útil cuando se tiene prisa y no quieres andar con el cabello despeinado pero tiene algunos inconvenientes. Mi cabello no es tan chino así que al final del uso no lo deja tan crespo pero después de unas horas comienza a esponjarse. Además, para llegar a la temperatura de 360°F tarda alrededor de 5 min.

I have short straight hair which becomes messy and all over the place when I wake up in the morning. This product tidy's it up well and the LED temperature display is a good safety component. Just make sure you don't brush right through into your scalp because it can get really hot.
