Carol's Daughter Mimosa Hair Honey Clarifying Scalp Treatment

I am trouble with dandruff and i wash my hair a lot almost everyday and it will still be there. I recently got my sow in and my hair was itching and i didnt want to beat my head up or make my nails damage my scalp. I went on youtube and saw what they use and this came up . so i gave it a try omg my head felt so clean and fresh and no scratching.

I am a Caucasian female with very thick hair. I have a balayage Brown to purple look right now so I got my wash routine down to once a week to maintain the bright color with the help of dry shampoo and patience. However my scalp gets dry and itchy because of the buildup. After washing my hair, which includes two shampoo scrubs, I would STILL notice flakes of product all throughout my roots..which sent me on a search for this product. I just received it today and it instantly calmed my irritation to my scalp. I enjoy the fresh smell and my roots already feel “lighter” and softer. I will update my review after I wash my hair (this is day 6).I’ve washed my hair twice since the review (again because we went to a water park) and I have noticed a huge decrease in the amount of flakes (product) left in my hair! You do not need to saturate your roots, just put a bit on the ends of your fingers and work it through. I used it after a shower because my thought process is to get it on my scalp as a coating before any of my dry shampoo starts to build on it in the following days. I will continue to use this as part of my hair routine !!!!

To start, I have 3a-b hair. Mixed texture, somewhat fine and tons of it.I don't use this on braids. I don't wear them for long enough, even with the matching pomade (which I do braid with).When I straighten it, I try to make it last as long as possible, but it typically feels it needs a refresh a few days in. Traditional dry shampoo tends to just feel stiff, built up, dull. Freshens the scent but leaves me feeling dusty and dirty. So I've been searching for a freshening product.I really like this one. I apply it sparingly to my scalp in a method like hair dye (part and run a bead), then rub and comb to distribute before putting in a low ponytail or twist (to lay my roots flat).Maybe only because my baby hairs are super fine, this will keep them straight down enough for a sleek, but undone look. Sculpting: no. Straight down: yes. This was surprising, because the Carol's Daughter black vanilla edge gel doesn't, and it gets crunchy.If I had any complaints, I just wish there was a flight friendly size. I'll be on the hunt for a purse/airplane bottle with a similar nozzle.

I like the fresh tingly feeling I get from this product I really feel like it did provide moisture and conditioning benefits while I had my crochet braids.

definitely bigger than i expected, but i thought this would be more of a minty feel on my scalp since one of the ingredients did read peppermint oil. However, it doesn't feel like any peppermint is included. my scalp still gets a little relief feeling after i apply through my goddess locs and it does help with flaking a little but nothing drastic. it is a gel consistency, not oil. its good but not great.

I love the clarifying scalp treatment. I get box braids frequently and the braid itch is the worst. Plus it’s hard to wash your braids and get all of the buildup out. I normally use dry shampoo to keep my braids clean. First time trying this and I have my new cleansing routine. My scalp feels super clean and I love the tingly feeling. Highly recommend.
