Cuba Large Steel La Hacienda Cast Iron Chiminea Garden Patio Heater Log Burner

I bought this a year ago, it is good to use and looks cute in the garden but doesn't fit together perfectly as few gaps where pieces didn't line up, but works well and have has done since purchased

Half the construction is mild steel , but I expected cast iron metal construction .

Arrived with damaged chimney ( to be fair, rather than go through the hassle of return I repaired it myself). Lengthy assembly but not difficult. The 'air vent' doesn't fit and is next to useless but again, to be fair, this doesn't seem to affect the performance. Bit pricey for what you get but overall I'm not so displeased with it that I felt the need to complain it does what it's supposed to do.

Having had several of these fires I can say the price is now too high for the quality you get. The metal gets thinner every time, especially the chimney parts above the fire. It went together ok but the holes for the parts are a bit hit and miss, one leg is wonkey because of this, luckily I'm good at diy and can adapt things if need be. Overall not a great buy, this probably won't last long and will likely be the last one I buy.

It’s pretty good. Takes a while to warm up, but easy to use. The screws do come loose very quickly so just keep an eye on them

Firstly, This is no way 'large'- you'd better be burning smokeless else you are going to cover anyone standing close-by with smoke (due to poor height of chimney) . Price for this seems very high - again as another reviewer pointed out, probably due to very high demand. Whole thing is bolted together - the top half of the chimney does not match bottom half and I worry after a few fires how it will hold-up. Mine received with no instructions at all, however i had no problems with holes lining up.

Always wanted one of these for my garden and I have to say this was a great purchase. Its a nice height, very sturdy and looks great. As a heater it pumps out a nice amount of heat and you don't get blinded in clouds of smoke.
