It's dead, Jim.
There's really nothing else to say. I ordered. It delivered. The box was undamaged and from what I could see it was new and never before opened. I put batteries in. It sat there, dead.

No go, returned product after it failed in less than a week.
Broke within a week of arriving. Would not dispense plain M&M's or even smaller candy. Returned product.

It just won’t work when you place your hand over the sensor plus no core connections

I like this but it doesn't work with almonds, pecans or cashews.

Lasted two months
I bought this for my dad for Christmas. It worked for about three months and then it stopped. The batteries have been changed twice and it still doesn't work. Apparently from the other reviews, that is a common theme. Don't buy this item.
