I’m a trained barista
A don’t think it a bad little machine!! It’s just getting the water measurements right! I’d suggest using the glass jug that you get With the machine and filling that with the required amount of water! I’ve saw a few reviews about the steam arm being to loud etc! I’m a trained barista and Know if the steam arm starts “screaming” you need to lift it near the surface of the milk for just a second to let some air in to the milk then it should stop!Only down fall is the machine it’s self is really light! But all in all I think so far so good!

Does what a Moka coffee pot does but so what? And an Aeropress will do better.
OK, you can't expect much for the price (I think I paid just under £40 for it).I was tempted to try it partly because of the price (under £40) and partly because of a review I read from someone who'd bought one and said they were a barista and recommended it. If that person was really a barista, then I'm never going there for a coffee! To be clear, I am NOT a barista. But I do like my coffee. A lot. And I have used Mokka pots, Caffettieres, Filter pots, Coffee machines and the Aeropress. All of them have their pros and cons. So, to my thoughts on the Livivo...Good:It looks nice. The glass carafe is a nice touch. It's very easy to use and there are very few knobs or switches that could fail. It's easy to keep clean.Bad:It makes a poor cup of coffee. I definitely would NOT call it esspresso! The water temperature control is... well, it boils it and that's it. Given the small water reservoir, this will mean that if you want to brew four cups (the maximum stated on the carafe and in the instructions) then it will run out of water and blow steam into the coffee puck, giving the coffee a burnt rubber aroma. The portafilter (the bit you load the coffee into) is not really a pressure filter. With a normal pressure filter, if you fill it with water you will see that the water does not run away. This is because the holes in the bottom of a normal pressure filter are so small that the surface tension in the water will not allow it to drain through. That is NOT the case with the Livivo. The holes are just too big. This means you cannot build up enough pressure or entrain any air so there will be no crema. Also, you will find a fair bit of coffee fines in the bottom of the carafe when it's done. The only way to avoid that would be to grind coarser - then the coffee extraction would be compromised and you'd get a very "thin" cup of coffee. All in all, it produces a similar product as a mokka pot, with all the variability that comes with it.For almost the same money, you can get an Aeropress which, once you get used to how to use it, will give you a consistently superior product (to the Livivo) every time.If what you had really set your heart on was a "coffee machine" then DeLonghi make a reasonable one for under £100. There are also offerings from Lidl and Aldi in there special offers once a year. Otherwise, expect to pay from £300 upwards.

Amazing machine
Ok, I love my coffee. I typically have been using either Cafeteria or a Filter Coffee machine. Works great, quick and makes great coffee. Very easy to use and clean.

Basically exploded
First time I used it to clean out the inside, as per the instructions, the steam arm kept going after it was turned off. The first time I used it to make coffee, the steam arm didn't work at all to heat my milk. The second time I made coffee, it basically exploded, popping off the coffee grounds holder, spraying coffee grounds everywhere and then the steam arm came on, despite me switching it to pause, and sprayed steam all over the counter. Useless. Shame, because the one cup of coffee I got out of it was nice.
