The unit arrived a day earlier than the estimate which was good, but the trucking company could not off load at my home. It unit and packaging is very large and weighed in at 1100 pounds. The packaging also was intended for a forklift and was too low to allow use of a pallet dolly which created a situation that did not allow the person delivering the package to move it around in the truck. They took it back to the dock and placed the package on an oversized pallet and returned the next day. Even with 3 grown men, still had extreme difficulty getting it off the trailer and of course it was in a heavy thunderstorm. I only tell you this so you can be prepared for a similar experience. The packaging was very good, no damage to the unit and the dolly was way more assembled than I expected, only had to install the tow-bar. It actually took longer to get the dolly out of the create than to assemble the dolly. The hardest part of installing the tow-bar was hooking up the break line and making sure it was out of the way when installing the main bolt. Had no problem with the supplied assembly instructions, plus I found a video on line. Have not used the dolly yet and will update this review after I do. Lots of pins and handles to make sure are installed and or in the right position before towing. I’m going to paint bright yellow or red and maybe attach “REMOVE BEFORE FLIGHT” streamers to highlight those items along with a checklist… sorry the Air Force and Boeing careers coming out.

problem with brake fluid quick disconect(had to buy a new one($53.00) problem with how to bled the line etc . still working on that problem, the curb side wheel is locked up. i cant tow until problem is fixed. other than that it appears like it should do the trick. having a brake repair service coming to my house to fix this week.

I had a little trouble getting the quick connect for the brakes joined, and one hole had a little slag that had to be cleaned out. But this is solid! Easy to move on level.I hauled my car almost 6,000 miles, a lot of it in the mountains, and it was great! I like how it follows my motorhome, and the brakes worked great.I had several envious neighbors in the RV parks!

Worst piece of junk I ever bought.Used it once for a 200 mile trip when we got home the Pin that holds the folding tongue from folding was so bent I had to drive it out. They sent me a new one.The next trip another 200 mile trip that pin sheared off allowing th car to crash into the back of the motor home and wrecking the car front end-the tow dolly-and the rear of the RV. costing thousands of dollars.Demco Kar Kaddy junk

I have used this device for about 2 years towing a 2016 mini 4 door, about 9,000 miles so far without incident, you do need to check your straps as described. I do push it by hand into my storage space on hard surface, I do have the spare tire set up just it case.

I like how solid the dolly is and how easy it was to assemble.

This is an excellent dolly that can handle heavy vehicles. But, be aware that the dolly alone weighs close to 700 pounds. It is easy to move on level pavement or hard ground with the jack wheel down. However,on uneven, soft or hilly ground, it takes two people. Loading and unloading is smooth once you get the hang of it, and handling at highway speeds is smooth--you don't know it's back there except for the added weight of dolly and towed vehicle.
