4711 Original Eau De Cologne Cool Stick 20ml 0.7fl Oz

My wife introduced me to the 4711 cologne Cool Stick decades ago. She carried one in her purse or bookbag to give herself a refreshing "splash" of 4711 anywhere, anytime. She also rubbed a bit on her temples when she had a headache.Then, the 4711 stick disappeared; we couldn't find them for sale anywhere. Recently, while I was ordering the large 27-ounce bottle of the cologne, I saw the listing for the solid "Cool Stick" on Amazon. I ordered one to see if it was same product my wife used so many years ago. It is!During this hot summer period, we have dabbed a bit of refreshing 4711 on to make the weather tolerable.A great -- almost addictive -- product.

4711 Original Eau De Cologne Cool Stick 20ml 0.7fl Oz came in the form of tiny lump of dried up wax that had become dessicated to about 1/4 of its original size. Imagine a deoderant mummified for years and you will get an accurate image. The tube holding the product was also broken at its base and the pushup tabe at the bottom had fallen through the container. Amazon's boiler plate position on returns for this kind of product, as presented on the Amazon website, is that it is for personal use (or some such) so cannot be returned for refund. Upon telephoning an Amazon rep, this position was quickly dropped and a refund given.

I was introduced to this scent as a child living in Germany, waaaay back when. For a thousand year perfume this still smells wonderful and reminds me of wearing this in the past. I have read reviews that say the scent does not last. The trick to that is to layer it. Apply, let it dry and apply again. Two to three reapplications and you will smell this scent hours later.

This product came quickly. It looked exactly how they described it. It seems to work as advertised.The scent does not last very long. But honestly maybe that’s not so bad. I was less and less impressed with this sent the more I wore it. I guess some people might like it but it really wasn’t for me. I did read some of the other reviews on this and mine came just fine it wasn’t dried up it was exactly the size I expected it to be there’s nothing wrong with this I just don’t like the way it smells

After so many reviews here that said the product arrived shriveled, dead, evaporated into a short spaghetti noodle, I was worried that my order would suffer the same fate.Maybe I’m lucky, but it is fine.It’s all there... an Elmer’s gluestick sized sweet smelling piece of solid cologne.I’m happy with it.

👨‍👧‍👧This is not a deo! It goes on ur forhead to cool u down while u r traveling and to get rid of a headache! It works like a charm. My family in Germany has used 4711 for a hundred years and I brought it with me when I came here in 1960. Wouldnt be with out it

Sooooo after reading many reviews, I expected this fragrance to be some earth shattering amazing hidden gem. Honestly..... it smells STRONGLY like a bar of Irish Spring soap. After a minute or two, it does mellow and and smell slightly more like an actual fragrance (I assume because the alcohol component has dried). But it's so mildly scented that I have a feeling that folks will just assume I didn't wash all the soap off in this mornings shower. mehhh

My bad for not paying attention to the fine print. I have been using the big bottles of 4711 Cologne for years, so when I saw this I was excited about getting it in stick deodorant form. I did not notice, because of the photo that this was a mere 20ml sample stick for nearly $6 per stick. I bought this to replace normal sized 3 oz. Dana Canoe stick, which is apparently no longer made. What a rip-off. And these tiny sticks are mailed from England. Like I said, my bad, but never again!
