Beautiful telescope in a nicely crafted leather case!
I bought this for my husband who loves all things nautical.He loved it! Beautiful spy glass as he called it.

Looks okay made very cheap.
Box will not shut and latch. First time I open the telescope it came apart. I looks fine just made really cheap.

It is beautiful box & spy scope combination. However, for me (an older woman) I found it to heavy. I could not hold it still to get a focus. This is note a bad review. Just letting future buyers know it is big & weighs!!! I am going to try and find as good a scope that isn't so cumbersome. Thank you.

Very pleased and well worth the cost!
The wooden box is actually stained ebony black and does not have the brass plate as indicated in the listing photos. However, the workmanship and quality of the telescope along with the storage box are top notch. This truly is a functioning telescope that makes an incredible showpiece and is well worth the cost.
