Shiny, durable floors with less work than using traditional floor waxes
Have used this for 15 years on my Armstrong no-wax linoleum floor. Never yellows or flakes, just sort of 'fades' in the areas of wear. When the finish dulls, usually 2 months or more in my house, this is the reapplication procedure: Just wash the floor with distilled water and a few drops of liquid dishwash detergent (New Dawn), no rinsing needed, let dry, and reapply Proshot with an old folded up cotton Tshirt. Let dry. Clean shiny shiny floor. No removal of old layers with ammonia, like using traditional floor wax.To clean the floors periodically, I use a quart spray bottle of cold distilled water with 2-3 drops of New Dawn, and spray it on a section of floor, then clean it with a Rubbermaid floor mop with the removable and washable terrycloth 'heads'. No rinsing needed. Clean another section of floor. The ProShot finish does not do well with the "Swiffer" cleaner solution, nor does it do well with vinegar/water solutions. More aggressive cleaning solutions, like SpicNSpan, Mr. Clean, Pinesol, etc, also seem to take off the wonderful shine prematurely.Distilled water has no minerals, so has a negative chemical charge. It then attracts minerals(positively charged), i.e. what we call 'dirt' or soil. It's the key to a good homemade floorcleaner.

Wow! Better than expected
This hardwood floor has seen 20 years of abuse from dogs, harsh cleaners, and many family get together. It was looking very dry and the finish was gone. 2 coats of this 45 min apart and it looks new. The shine is great and it’s a dry smooth but not slick surface. Who knows how long it lasts but it’s super easy to put on and I plan to maybe do this every 6mo or so now as it’s just too darn easy. Might be hard to appreciate in the photos. The last one is a day later and it just looks great.

Best product ever
I kept ordering it every year for my hardwood floor and had been the envy of everyone who came, asking me what I use but I never tell. However, I learn now that the business is closed probably due to the economy. We live in sad times now!

Amazing shine, fair durability
I am a little ambivalent about this stuff. It does seem like a miracle when you first put it on, but it feels a little like Rogaine for your floors. Now you just have to keep using it. . .forever. It does really add a lustrous finish to most floors and brought back some pretty ugly floors to a very nice state of shine and depth of wood color. On a low traffic floor, it looks like it could last at least a year. On higher traffic areas, the gloss does fade significantly after a few weeks. I may be taking it for granted, but they definitely don't have the gloss and sheen they did when I first put it on, now three weeks later. That said, I don't know anything better at this point in time and for areas we don't walk over a lot, it really looks fantastic. We used it on Heart Pine planks (which had nothing but sealer I think), old beat up Parquet floors with scuffs, black spots, etc., and more standard oak floors--old, probably 80 years. Most of our floors had no finish left and were scruffy and this stuff really gave them a new lease on life. Bring on the next application. . .

Good for an added shine to your floor.
When I purchased my home, it had wonderful looking hardwood. When I asked our seller what they used on the hardwood floor, they told me they used this product for 10+ years and never had their floor professionally polished! A few months after I moved in and felt the floor was starting to get a little dull, as soon as I applied it and the floor instantly brighten up. It helped add that glossy shine back onto our hardwood. I liked that it kind of help fills in and hides any small minor scratches (doesn't work on deep scratches though). Its very easy to use, mop it on with a sponge mop and let it dry. I usually apply a coat once a month or every other month, whenever I feel it needs a little bit of a pick-me-up. Make sure your floor is clean before applying an even coat throughout your floor (do small area at a time) for that nice polished look! If you don't apply even polish throughout, you will end up with some dull area. Its a good temporally fix if you cannot afford to get your floor professionally restored. I say temporally, because we have a large dog who loves to run around the house so we will eventually need to get the hardwood professionally restored.

Very happy with the results
I am very happy with the results of this stuff. It made our linoleum floor look new again. It gives it a slightly wet look, which is what I was going for. One of the bad reviews stated that they walked on it and it left tracks. They must have walked on it before the drying time was up, (says about 45 minutes on the bottle), but in some spots it took longer for me. I know this because I set the jug down on my counter top while applying this, and it left a ring that I had to scrape off. It had the consistency of dried on plastic. Fortunately, it was a smooth surface and I was able to scrape it off. But I would be careful where you set the jug down, or put something under it while applying this stuff. I'm sure over time moving chairs and tables etc will leave marks, but so far after having a large party at our house, and a few days of walking on it, we couldn't be happier.

but a good coat every other month or so will give the ...
I used this stuff on the wood floors of my old place, and now on saltillo (sealed) tile at our current house and this stuff is worth the price. It's a little expensive, but a good coat every other month or so will give the floors a great shine. It goes on easy and seals hard - I know because I spilled some on my cheap countertop and it sealed into a plastic like texture. Dries clear. I've found I only have to let each coat dry about 15 minutes, but we have very dry air. Two coats and the floors just shine. Definitely worth the expense.
