Absolutely incredible light. More of a Spot Light then an area light but it does cast light in a wide area but it is more a spot light then an area light and good gosh man does this thing throw some light out! You really have to see it to understand. I have a cabin and I have a Fenix TK 35 UE that I made clear to family was to ALWAYS stay at the cabin as it was awesome to have that kind of flashlight there. Well I compared the SD75 to the Fenix and it not even close. The Fenix does an excellent job of lighting up a very wide area with a considerable amount of light where the SD 75 also lights up a wide area it is definitely more of a long distance light or more of a spot light then an area light. The pictures attached below show the difference between the Fenix and the Lumintop 75 with area light vs. distance light and brightness. I wanted to attach some other pictures showing some long distance views but it's taking forever to transfer them via email from my phone to my IPad. I'm sure there's a better way of doing that but I'm an old guy and I know what I know and it's not much...The features built into this light are just brilliant! I use the little USB light attachment as a night light and the other USB port to charge my IPad and/or my IPhone when needed. That's really thoughtful of Lumintop to build those features in like that...

This an update to my initial review. The manufacturers customer service contacted me to resolve the issues with the light and they were very nice and helpful although you have to understand that they are overseas and communications can be delayed. They sent me a new ac charging cord which worked fine and helped me resolve the battery discharge problem. I put new Panasonic 3400 batteries and they worked fine for day to day use and charging. As with all high powered lights I would suggest removing the batteries if you are not using it for 3-4 weeks or longer. The light is very well made and heavy duty and will throw the beam more than 1/4 mile. It is the most powerful light I have ever seen and I have a lot of lights. It is very useful on a boat, wildlife viewing at night or any other nighttime outdoor activity. If you want a powerful spot light then this is it

I have one of these flashlights bought in January 2016 and it runs the batteries down even when not in use. I use Orbtronic batteries 3400ma several sets that were also new when I bought the flashlight. Item is junk and dead every time I try to use it. The factory (Lumintop) gives you the run around when trying to get it fixed. I have not put more than 45 minutes run time on it since I bought it since I can't keep batteries in it. I am charging the batteries with a nitcore intelligent charger , the battereries are not the problem.

It's absurd how bright this light cannon shines. I am impressed and so is everyone who sees this bad boy in action. I like the case and the accessories all work well. My wife bought this for me for Father's Day. Winner!

I'll make this short. Buy one, this is one very bright and well made flash light. I have a collection and this is one of my favorites. Other flash light companies should be taking notes from this company. If you're looking for a flash of this caliber, buy this one. It will not disappoint.

I used this light twice and it stopped working. Tried numerous times to contact seller with no success. When it worked it was the best light I have ever seen and would have given it 5 stars, but, I paid a lot of money for something that does not work. I have 2 smaller lumitop lights and both work great.
